'BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-' I mumbled and rubbed my eyes as I got up and out of bed, stretching. I looked at my clock for the time and it said 6:02Am. I opened my curtains to let light warm sunshine peeking behind the trees outside, warming me the longer I stood by my window. As my morning began I walked into my bathroom and started the shower to get washed and clean for my busy day ahead of me. Once the hot water hit my skin I could feel a sense of relief and calmness run through my body as I began washing my hair and body. After I had gotten dressed and blow dried my hair, I got into the outfit I had picked the night before, just some light gray sweatpants and a light decorative turtle neck. After doing my makeup I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I said politely and I turned around to see Miss Kola, one of my many maids in the house. "Good morning miss Kola." I smiled as I greeted her. "Good morning dear, your breakfast is ready, whenever you are. The kitchen is all tidy and clean as well, some other maidens are working on the laundry as we speak." She informed me and I smiled. "Thank you, your help is much appreciated Kola. But do not forget that this is you and the maidens week off, so please take it. You've worked ever so hard to look after me." She laughed, an old, broken laugh, as she was getting older but it was still genuine. "Of course dear! We thank you for the time off and will gladly take it. If that is everything I'll be off." And after that she closed my door and I could hear her close the front door. I smiled, that old lady loved me and I adored her as well.
After I had put all of my accessories on like my necklace, rings and bracelets I got my crocheted bag and everything else to be ready. I made my way downstairs and ate my breakfast Miss Kola had prepared for me and put my dishes in the sink and made sure to lock the front door on my way out. I had made plans to go to the local library and spend my entire day there, as it had multiple stories filled with books and rolling ladders. It is always my favorite spot to spend my free time, getting lost in books and stories. It was a somewhat short distance from my place, and I don't mind walking. The spring weather was calming and peaceful as I watched birds fly around me and perched on cherry blossom trees.
