Lyrics:
I'm beautiful, I know 'cause it's the season
But what am I to do with all this beauty?
Biology, I am an organism
I'm chemical, that's all, that is allI'm liquid smooth, come touch me too
And feel my skin is plump and full of life
I'm in my prime
I'm liquid smooth, come touch me too
I'm at my highest peak, I'm ripe
About to fall, capture meOr at least take my picture
崩れてゆく前に
I'm pulsing
My blood is red and unafraid of living
Beginning to endI'm liquid smooth, come touch me too
And feel my skin is plump and full of life
I'm in my prime
I'm liquid smooth, come touch me too
I'm at my highest peak, I'm ripe
about to fallHow I feel this river rushing through my veins
With nowhere else to go, it circles 'roundI'm liquid smooth, come touch me too
And feel my skin is plump and full of life
I'm in my prime
I'm liquid smooth, come touch me too
I'm at my highest peak, I'm ripe
About to fall, capture me
This is one of the songs that took me most time to understand, but to my mind, it is actually one of the most meaningful songs of this album.
This songs represents how being a woman and life itself go hand in hand as we see how she represents herself as something that is alive, an organism, like a fruit since she mentions words such as "ripe" or "plump", symbolizing she can rot, as how women are less valued when they reach a certain age.
The singer is someone who realizes this and tries to tell someone who is presumably their partner to like her more just by sexualizing herself because that's the way she feels she is being loved by someone, even though she's objectifying herself and throwing away her self-respect.
(I'm busy w school so expect slow updates 😞😞)
