Mary Brian's POV:
The smell of popcorn floated into my nose as I stepped into the movie theater, pacing behind Niall.
He led me into the 3rd row from the back, the more secluded place. It was a newly released movie so a lot of people were here, but most were in the front.
The movie began playing, and Niall passed me a rather large bucket of popcorn. Holy mother of Cynthia's pickles.
"Thanks" i said at i picked up a few curnels, popping them into my mouth.
About halfway through the movie, I felt something brush my neck, and being the loser i was, i turned around and slapped whatever was in my way.
"Ow!" Niall said, pulling back his arm.
I.Am.Such.An.Idiot.
"Sorry Niall! Reflexes?" i blushed.
He looked at me weirdly, then shoved yet another handful of popcorn into his mouth.
As the movie came to a close, the lights faded back on and everyone stood up, including Niall and I.
I supposed this was the end of our date, but I noticed Niall wasn't driving in the route of my apartment building.
"Where are we going, Niall?" i asked from the passenger seat.
"You'll see." he replied, a grin stretching across his face.
God d*mn i hate surprises.
We pulled into the parking lot of my favorite italian resturant, "La Griglia" and like the gentleman he is, opened the door for me to get out.
"Why thank you, kind sir." I said in the best posh accent i could do.
"You're very welcome, me lady." he said back.
I laughed a little and we linked arms, walking into the resturant.
We sat down towards the back of the resturant, a candle smelling of evergreen glowed in the middle of the table.
A waitor about my age came to the table, his jet black hair swooping to the side.
He bit his lip as he looked at me, "What can I get for this gorgeous girl right here?" he said adding a wink towards the end.
I blushed slightly, almost never being hit on. "Can i just have some water, please?" I said kindly.
"Coming right up" he said, then his frown faded as he turned to Niall, who i dont think he noticed before. Niall's eyes were dark and his eyebrows were furrowed. I'd have to say it was extremely sexy.
The waitor had a look of disgust on his face "Oh, um, what would you like?" he said, acting like Niall was a dead bird with a contageous case of rabies.
"I'll have the same." Niall smiled. But deep down, I could see him holding back his anger. I had only known him for a small amount of time and he's already protective of me.
The same reaction followed from the waitor when we ordered our meals.
Once we finished an amazing molten lava cake, the waitor came back with our check. He slipped me a piece of paper. It read,
"Hey babe, you dont want that d*ckhead as a boyfriend, do you? Well come over after your boring date.
xx Roy "
He also put his phone number and address.
Creep.
I made sure I got his attention, as well as Niall's and ripped the paper several times.
Roy's jaw dropped, and Niall busted out laughing.
I smirked as Roy's face flooded with embarrassment, as he quickly ran the check and disappeard.
"That was a good one, Bri" Niall said, still chuckling after his long laugh.
We rode to a location unknown. Well, i guess Niall knew.
After what seemed like forever, we pulled up to an absolute EMPTY park.
We got out of the car and started walking along the smooth green grass.
Parks were my favorite place to go when I needed time to think. It just made me forget all my worries.
The very first time my dad drank too much, I ran to the local park. As embarrassing as it is, I ended up spending the night there. The grass is just so comfortable it gets to you, ya know.
I dazed off in my thoughts, and by surprise, Niall picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
"NIALLER!" I yelled, banging on his firm back. He spun me around several times, my laughing getting so weird it turned into a guffaw.
As the spinning slowed and my laughing died down, he set me gently on a big hill filled with grass the greenest green i'd ever seen. It made me feel like I was back home, in Altus, on my favorite park that Cynthia and I would go to all the time.
He layed next to me, staring up at the miraculous starlit sky.
The Big Dipper stood out in the dark blue sky. It was about 11pm.
We layed there for a good peaceful 5 minutes, in a comfortable silence.
I felt Niall intertwine our hands, and I smiled to myself.
Suddenly, he tugged me to face him, and to my surprise, it looked like he had been looking at me for the past 5 minutes we were in silence.
I blushed a bit at that fact.
I brought our hands up between our chests, trying to not let him be the only one doing the romantic gestures.
But to my surprise, he brought them right back down and scooted closer to me so our chests were pressed together.
I caught his gaze, and I'm pretty sure he could feel my heart beating out of it's chest, but mine wasn't the only one. I could literally feel his heart against mine. I grinned at that.
He bit his lip slightly, leaning in closer so his hot breath was on my lips.
Our lips grazed, but it was I that finally connected our lips together. Niall kissed back, which made me feel so happy.
Our lips moved in sync, and I wrapped my arms around his neck as he snaked his around my waist.
The kiss was only to be broken as Niall smiled into it, and I broke into a fit of giggles.
He tucked a strand of my loose hair behind my ear, still smiling.
"Thank you for tonight, Niall. I'm sorry that waitor was so irritating." I said, looking away at the last part.
"No, Thank you Bri. You made it wonderful. And I couldn't blame the lad. He probably couldn't resist someone so beautiful."
There goes my blush again.
