Several months have passed since Akame and Akashi's squad began assassination missions. Leaving the mountains that they grew up in, they now conduct assassinations with the Northern Empire as their base of operations.
"Thanks to Akame and Akashi, the Sabatini Circus group has been eliminated." Gozuki said, surrounded by his adopted children as he held up a piece of paper with the picture of their next target. "Your next target is Ragiri, viceroy of Rakurou castle. He is conspiring with the Northern Nation. He's a big target. Use the experience that you've gained and eliminate him yourselves!"
Rakurou Castle Inner City...'
"Maaaan..." Guy complained, clearly bored out of his mind. "Hey Najasho, this is boring as hell. Why can't we just storm the castle at night?"
"Shut up idiot. It's not that simple." Najasho interjected as he and the boys were blending in with the crowd quite easily. Both Green and Akashi were working as waiters for a cafe with Najasho and Guy acting as patrons, their leader reading his book as usual with a strawberry sundae next to him.
"The castle is rigged with traps, since the viceroy is doing something as dangerous as selling out the Empire." Green entered the conversation holding a tray of hot coffee in one hand. Seeing his teammate in a waiters outfit, guys couldn't help but smirk. "...Heh. That looks good on you, Green."
"I'm fighting a battle to get my special coffee on the restaurant's house special menu... But it looks like I'm losing the battle to a certain someone."
The three turn their head to the side to see Akashi, surrounded by customers, mostly by women as he holds a tray of coffee with one hand with his iconic blank look.
"Tch. Lucky bastard." Guy enviously said, seeing the emotionless youth be surrounded by numerous women.
"Hey idiots, don't forget the reason we're here."
"I know. First, we infiltrate the city and gather intel, right?"
"I wanna do something, too!" Guy said, clearly wanting more action as he performed some basic punches in the air.
"You'd just make a ruckus, so sit still. We'll make you work harder when we actually conduct the mission." Najasho said, unamused at the brute. "Humph. You're not gonna do anything then, Najasho?"
"That's how being the leader works. In return, I'll take full responsibility for the mission."
While the two continued talking, Green couldn't help but glance at the location where the girls were laying undercover. 'I wonder if the girl's are doing alright.....Akame...'
"He's been lost in thought a lot recently." Guy couldn't help but comment, seeing Green lost in thought as the blonde of the team was confused of what the brute meant. All while Akashi was still surrounded by numerous girls, ranging from his age to older than him, the red-eyed boy let out a sigh, just wanting to continue his work.
Meanwhile with Poney, the girl was currently filleting fish and meat.
"Hey! You're a natural at this!!" The chef complimented, seeing the amazing knife work of Poney. "Yes, sir!"
Dropping another fish on the chopping board the chef gave out another order. "Alright! Next, gut this incredibly rare Kouga-Tuna!"
Seeing another fish on her chopping board, Poney's hand trembled. 'Uuugh! I'm being held up because he's keeping an eye on me, in a different sense!'
On Cornelia's end, the blonde girl of the group was working in the castle as a maid. She was currently pacing around the hallway as like the others, she herself was looking for useful information to aid them in their next assassination mission.
