Everyone started to look at each other,"I think so, they are going to start again with it " Whisphered wooshik," Mmhm ,no they'll keep it calm, its about family " hyejin whisphered back.
Dami who was listening to them while working on her desktop said,"Guys, back to work, let them handle it on their own,
BACK TO WORK EVERYONE" She shout on the last line. Everyone followed her order even though she not that high ranking officer, but she was listened the most, even more than seo joon .
"Oh, okay, then how about tomorrow are you guys free?" Asked seo joon. " YES"everyone replied together while working, with that seo joon returned to his office. It was normal for everyone working there as they can't stop their work and yes everyone there was a multitasking person.
After, past the leaving time of taehyung and yoona, on which they were supposed to leave neither of them stood from their place as they were so immersed in their work. Seo joon comes to his night round and he notices that they are still here," Hey, Taehyung aren't you and yoona supposed to be at family dinner?" He asked both of them suddenly stood up packed their things "thanks hyung " Taehyung replied.
" Can't you even remember a thing,I asked to remind me if I forget "yoona sighed in frustration ," I was also working, can't you see, you could have also reminded me " replied taehyung.
And in this way both of them started to bicker. Seo joon face palmed himself ' They won't change ' he thought to himself.
At restaurant
Taehyung and yoona were walking as fast as they can . In car when both of them checked their phone there were at least 22 phone calls of their parents.
They pushed the door open of the private
Dinning room. And there sat their families having a truffle chocolate cake in desert. " Oh! Finally, my son arrived, I thought we are going have dinner without the reason of the gathering " Spoked taehyung's father in loads of sarcasm.
"Yes, Mr Kim, I thought we are going to discuss about the wedding without the groom and the 'bride' " Yoona's mom stated. This statement made yoona nd taehyung freeze on their spot as if they just have saw a muder. "What!!!?!" Both of them said in union, then looked and each other in rage and then " WEDDING!!?" both of them shouted in union. " Look, I told u guys the they have a syncing, that's why they are the best duo of their department " Spoked seo jun.
" Wait, stop that first of all, and guys listen a. We are not only duo we have a damn team of 10 people. b. Sync my foot we don't even have a single thing in common if I'll say North he'll say South ,
C. We are extremely sorry for coming late and lastly d. WHAT IN THE WORLD MAKE YOU GUYS THINK THAT HE AND ME WOULD AGREE ON GETTING MARRIED TO EACH OTHER " with that yoona completed her small lecture.
" But yoona, one you have get married and now looking at your age and your work I doubt someone will marry you
and if you marry someone who knows
that what is your condition and who understands it and so far we know only one person who have same condition as your and that's taehyung " Said yoona's mom.
"Yes, your mom is right yoona , it's time for you to get marry, to someone who is capable for you and yes dont forget that you gave us promise to marry the person we select for you " Added her father."and yess my son will keep you happy yoona don't worry, you don't have to worry about we'll manage even if sometimes both of you come home late." Added taehyung's mother.
" And you guys look too good together, and you have known each other for almost 20 years. You guys are friends and will make a very good couple " Added his father.everyone was just adding up all the things.
Yoona's p.o.v
Everyone is just adding up all together, well about me I had promised my parents that I'll marry anyone who they chose for me. But taehyung he never agreed for marriage. Yes, I know him for 20 years and by this experience of mine with him, I am sure would love to have a love life before marriage. Like how he use to talk about, his first love... No not her again she don't deserve that title. I meant how he used to talk about how he will have a wife who he cherish for the rest of his life.
Its very wrong if our families force him to marry me, it's not like I want to marry him is nothing more than a friend to me.
But I gave my word to my parents I need to listen to them but it's unfair to him. And I can't tolerate if unjust is happening in front of my eyes,that is the reason that I don't anyone to face any kind of unjust that's why I became a detective.
I JUST CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN TO MY FRIEND.
" STOP IT !!!!! , mom, dad and uncle aunty, will you guys just stop. I know that I have gave my word to you and yes I won't step back from it but Taehyung what about him, he never gave any kind of promise like this as far as I remember he never liked the thought him getting married to a person he never loved. All of you know what happened with, and you can't take that as he never overcame it. Well he did, he is more stronger than all of u think. Uncle and aunty I know you want him to settle down and have a family,but he don't want you can't just forced it on him it's his choice." I said in a single breath.
" What I mean to say is, if we are talking about his marriage atleast we need to ask that, do he even want to get married and if yes then to whom, it his choice and yes no one should force him if he don't want then no I sam NO ONE bring this topic of our marriage up again." I added.
I felt so good after saying all that, after all it's his choice well I am damn sure he is gonna say NO afterall , how on the earth a guy like him would like me,I mean wants to marry me. That doesn't me no one wants to. So many boys used have crush on me in high school.
" So, taehyung as yoona said we should ask you, which yes we should have done before hand but , I a... No we are sorry for not asking you. So tell us that, do you agree on this marriage of yours and yoona." His father asked him with hope . Which was going get crushed after his reply. But what he said was like 'WHAT THE ACTUALL HELL' is he serious about what he had just said, I am not not sure that he is even kidding or not. Nope he is not whatever he said is really what he meant. So he replied,
"Yes, I am ready for this marriage,
I'll marry Han Yoona "
The next line he said was like he read my mind," And I am not kidding"
