Idk angel names rn so it's Adam ok??

It was at the time Where everyone had guardian angels, everyone would get their first guardian angel at the age of six but unfortunately, for one poor boy, Michael he never got one... until one day...

It was in the middle of the night. Michael was simply sitting on his bed scrolling through on his phone.. until a bright celestial light shined in the center of his room, and there was an angel.

Mike was slightly blinded by the light, but his eyes eventually adjusted to it  "Oh hello angel." mike grins as he put his phone down. "Your name's "Michael" right?"
This angel had heard that name before..but just couldn't put his finger on it, for some reason. "Indeed but you may assign me as Mike." Mike shuffled.

"Alright "Mike". I'm your guardian angel."  The angel said, still being smug, as he crossed his arms and looked down on the human with a cocky, superior look on his face.
Mike could feel the pride and arrogance radiating from him like a fire. Mike's grin widened "Oh I like you already. What is your name?"
The angel looked kind of insulted, but brushed it off "Do you not recognize me? Hmm.. I'll give you an easy hint; "The first man"" said, with a cocky grin, acting like he was obviously the most important person in the world. And well..he was. At least in heaven...mike let out a little whistle as he got up from the bed that showed off his tall statue (6'4) and walked over to the angel that is suspected to be Adam.. Adam let out a chuckle at the reaction.
"You're quite tall for a human. How old are you anyway?" Adam asked. He looked around the room and crossed his arms, taking a look around the room. It wasn't the worst he'd seen, but it definitely wasnt the best. "24.. but don't be passing it around.." Mike huffed out... "Ah, I see. So you're an adult." Adam stated. "Hm...so. Why didn't you have a Guardian Angel already? Most children get their Guardian when they're around..six years old."
Mike grins and states with his arms crossed.
"I guess I'm just different."

"I would say so. Most guardians are assigned before the human turns ten, atleast. Or atleast, that's what i've seen. Hmm.." Adam went silent for a moment, observing Mike. "I must say, you're quite different from alot of humans I have seen."

"Really?"
mike tilts his head slightly with his creepy ass grin "I never knew" mike added sarcastically. Adam just glared down at him. "Yea, you're really quiet different than other humans I usually hear about. You seem..somewhat smart. And well, taller, and stronger than the norm." Mike's smile widened, and seemed to be quite predatory... "I'm just a better person, I am what they can be." Adam's look on his face seemed to change as he heard that.

"Huh.." He raised an eyebrow. "Do you mean to tell me, that you think you're better than other humans? That you think that you're, superior?"

"Well..all of them rely on their guardian and if they don't have their guardian they're defenseless unlike me. I have grown up without the protection of an angel. I know how to get through life without anyone."

Adam snickered, finding this statement a bit amusing.
"Do you really think you're strong enough to get through life on your own? You *are* just a mere human, after all."

"Oh but this human has done so much for this superiority title, I have even decided fates my dear angel.." Mike stood in front of Adam. Adam let out a chuckle.

"...You've..decided fates? As a human?"

mikes grin looks more sinister than before
"Indeed I have.."

Adam's look on his face changed to an intrigued one. He was genuinely interested now. This..was..new.

"...Oh really...and whose fate have you decided?"

Mike walked over to his desk, ripped open one of the drawers and threw a book over to Adam.. it was a literal scrapbook of newspaper clippings of people and horrendous ways that they have tortured and killed. Adam's eyes grew wide as he saw the book. He didn't expect him to actually have any proof! He took the book.

"...And. all of these...you did...?"

Indeed..
mike walked behind Adam and gently grabbed onto his wings and began to open them and shut them slowly examining how they worked.. Adam's wings started to slightly vibrate as he felt his fingers on them, as if his wings were starting to become slightly agitated by his touch.*

"...You...you were able to do all this...without a guardian..?"

"Yup" mike said simply.

Adam now seemed shocked by this. He didn't fully understand how this was possible, considering humans are supposed to be weak, and defenseless without a Guardian. To think, a human could not only survive...but kill..and decide fates..without a Guardian..?

"You really are something else. You know that?" Adam pauses before continuing "...but one question" Adam said after a minute of silence and thought. "How exactly did you..do all this..?"

"I just do it. It's not hard." Mike glances at Adam's face examining his expressions. *
Adam was even more confused, but also intrigued.

"...you just..do it? No ritual, or any sort of magic? Nothing?" Mike nodded. Adam now just looked at him blankly, extremely confused.

"...You confuse me, Mike. You really do."

"How so?? Explain your reasoning angel" Mike continues to play with Adam's wings. "Well..." Adam said, thinking it over. "From what i've been told, you're just supposed to be some defenseless, weak mortal human..who can't survive or get through life without a guardian..yet here you are, a human doing..well..the complete opposite, apparently..and i'm still confused on the how, because you said you just 'do it'..you just, kill people, and decide their fate, that easily?"... there was a moment of silence before Mike spoke up "Hm maybe I'm just more connected to my instincts than they are.." Adam cocked one of his eyebrows "..Instincts..? Like..animalistic instincts?"
Mike hummed and answered "I guess you could call them that..."

"Hm..interesting...you're a very curious human indeed.."
Adam said, glancing towards him.
"Do you think you're..better than other humans? Like, superior?"

"I am superior. I rely on no one."
Mike states as his expression sours quickly. Adams face lit up..
"Oh? So, you *do* think you're superior to others...hm...do you think you're better than me? Better than angels?"

"Hm.. maybe so." Mike brushed off his sour emotions. "Hm..?" Adam said, now getting his pride riled up with a bit of an amused smirk. "You think you're superior to us, angels?"
"Well I have a soul and free will unlike your kind." Mike hummed.. Adams grin grew as he heard that.

"Ah, i'm amused by you now, little human. You think humans are superior to angels? Angels are a higher life form than humans! We're the creation of the *divine!*"

"Oh and to add to my statement earlier In the Bible also says that in heaven we will be higher than the angels -- and the reason is because humans will be like Christ. The Bible says, "Do you not know that we will judge angels?", 1 Corinthians 6:3."

Adams grin grew into a smug pout. He was shocked, at the fact that a human was actually quoting from the Bible and actually had good reasoning..usually humans just couldn't hold their own against his kind and their logic.
"...You..you actually have a point there.." He said quietly. "...Still doesn't mean you're superior though, little human." Adam said, trying to not lose his pride.

"Then I'll make myself superior." Mike said coldly.

Adam snickered at that, and smirked.
"...Do you think you're *that* able to take down an angel?"

"If I'm able to take down all those people in that book and their guardian angels with them because that would be the only way for me to physically harm them then yes indeed."

Adam was starting to realize what he was up against. This human was more intelligent and more..lethal than most humans..and had a way with words...this..might actually be harder than he originally thought..
"Hmm..well. If you're so good at it, then i'd like you to prove that you are superior to us, angels."
Adam said, smirking again.
