Chapter 5: Struck By Cupid

09:50am: Hitomi's Dorm Room

"Hey, hey! Wake up!" 

I raised my arms to rub my eyes, the light quickly peered it's way through, 

someone had been calling for me, telling me to wake up. Who was it?

 I opened my eyes

 "Kokichi?! What're you doing here?! How'd you even get in?" I sat up a little startled

it's not every day where you wake up to one of your classmates hovering over your shoulder

 "I'm here to wake you, duh! What else would i be here for at this time? And did you seriously forget that i can lock pick doors?" He asked rhetorically 

"What time is it, anyway?" I rubbed my eyes some more 

"Hmmm, lemme check.." He glanced at the clock on my wall 

"9:50am!" He answered

 "Seriously? This is so early! Monokuma hasn't even made his morning announcement thingy yet!" I complained 

"I know, i know, but i didn't want you being so depressed today. Knowing you, you'd probably just hide in here all day! And that's soooo boring!" 

At first, i was a little confused about what he was talking about, *then* i remembered... Kirumi...

 "Judging by your facial expression there, you actually forgot about it.." Kokichi pointed out

 "Yeah... i was wishing it would stay that way.. i was.. actually gonna go visit her research lab for, y'know? Closure.. i guess" I rubbed my neck

 "Sure, sure! Let's do it the now then! We've still got time, but we won't if you don't get ready like.. right now! So hurry the hell up!" Kokichi urged 

"Fine, fine, wait outside.. i'll be out in a second" Kokichi done as he was told. 

I decided i just wanted to wear something comfy instead of my usual attire, so i just took a cozy black jumper and some leggings. I tied my hair back into a small messy bun so it would stay out of my way. I turned the key in the lock and opened the door. 

"Wow! I don't think i've ever seen you with your hair tied up before!" Kokichi made an 'o' shape with his mouth

 "Have you not, no?" I shut the door behind me locking it 

"Nope! It looks nice though, not a lie!" He had a wide grin across his face

 "Sure" I smirked

 "I'm not! Honest!" 

We began making our way to the main building, we went up some stairs and crossed a few hallways, 'till we finally arrived.

"This place really is something, huh?" Kokichi looked around 

"Yeah, it really is" 

I sighed as i admired the gothic aesthetics of the room, it really suited Kirumi

"This place really suited her, right?" It's as if Kokichi had read my mind 

"It really does, i couldn't've thought of a better room for her" I nodded

 "These things are pretty creepy though.."

 Kokichi flinched at the sight of the dolls sitting at the dining table, Kirumi said they symbolized who she had to serve. I approached them. I scanned them in better details with my eyes
