The next few days passed by quickly and before anyone knew it, it was Friday. Noah has morning practice from 6 until 8, then the coach sent them back to the dorms to pack for their weekend trip to Princeton. They were set to leave by 2:30pm, and arrive at their hotel just before 8pm.I had stayed with Noah the night before, snuggling in bed, falling asleep to a movie. We kissed a lot, but that was really the extent of anything physically exerting that happened. Noah and I both agreed to take our relationship really slow, and we are sticking to that.
I kissed Noah goodbye early in the morning when he headed out for practice, and stayed in bed until he got back to the dorms. Noah climbed back into bed with me, wrapping me in his arms and kissed me until I was fully awake. It was the perfect way to wake up, and one that I could definitely get used to. After waking me up, I used Noah's private bathroom to shower and get ready for the day, then we headed out for brunch.
After eating at a cute diner in town, Noah and I took the long way back to school, enjoying just being together. We got back to the dorms just after 1pm and had about an hour before Noah had to be back at the athletic facility to load the busses. Chloe met up with us after her classes, and we all walked together to say goodbye.
Chloe and I stood with Noah, talking and joking about random things while the head football coach rattled off orders to different people. Noah kept his arms around me, holding onto me as long as he could. I guess we are making our relationship pretty clear to everyone after all the rumors that have been floating around this week. We haven't said anything about them to anyone, not wanting to acknowledge the ridiculousness of all of it. But now, as we waited for Noah to board his bus, I guess we made it pretty clear to everyone that we are officially together. Nothing is really changing between me and Noah. We are staying just the way we've been; when we are together, we are together, and when we're not, we'll text or call. It's pretty much the same as it was last year, only we get to see each other in person a lot more. And we aren't having sex like everyone seems to think we are. Chloe of course knows the truth, but it isn't anyone else's business.
When it was finally time for Noah to load the bus, he hugged me tight, kissing me with everything he had. It was one of the best kisses of my life, and would definitely hold me over until I could be back in his arms Sunday night. Chloe hugged Noah goodbye, then stepped back to let me say a final goodbye to my man. It took until the coach finally interrupted us, calling for Noah to get on the bus, then Noah kissed me one last night, told me how much he loves me, then stepped away and climbed onto the bus.
Chloe and I stood waiting for the busses to depart, waving goodbye, then finally headed back to our dorm to figure out what to do next.
My game on Saturday went well. Noah called to wish me luck. We won the game with a score of 3-2. I made one of the goals and I was pretty proud of myself. I just wish that Noah had been there to see it. I texted Noah before his game, wishing him luck, telling him to please be safe, and that I love him no matter what. He texted me back with a winking emoji then a kiss emoji. I had no idea he knew how to use those.
Chloe and I watched Noah's game on the big TV in the common room with a bunch of other people. It definitely wasn't the same as actually being there, but it was a close as we were going to get.
Harvard was winning the game, but not by much. Princeton seemed to be a decent team this year after getting slaughtered last season. Noah got sacked a couple times, but jumped back up and kept playing. I worry when Noah gets sacked because he could get really hurt being hit the wrong way. He's been injured before and he is definitely not a good patient. He just gets angry and whiney. I still don't understand football too well, but I know enough to get by.
