I planned everything and told the woman what she was supposed to do. Rain likes Vincenzo so much. He finds such a thrill in watching all those mafia shows. So, I planned his mother's death just as in the show. Gas leak and blast.
She did everything as I said. She went inside the home, saying for a gas checkup and she left it leaking. When Rain's mother turned on the stove to cook, it blasted.
I couldn't be more happy. Everything went as planned. And I already bought the officers. So, it will be written off as an accident.
But, Rain's father was unplanned. I didn't think the opportunity to come so fast. So, when I found out he was going to leave alone that night after the funeral, I went to his car and disconnected the brake wires while he was drinking.
He wasn't even that drunk but still, it helped as I didn't even need to buy those officers again.
But, I might have left some clues this time as it was unplanned....
Whatever, it is not like they can arrest me even if I get caught...

#Third person pov
Rain was sitting on the sofa with Sky trying to make him eat something, when Phayu and Pai came inside.
Pai asked Sky if he ate anything, who shook his head. Phayu sighed and took the bowl from Sky's hand and sat beside Rain.
" Rain?" Phayu called making Rain look at him.
" I found something related to your father." Phayu said making Rain's ear perk up.
" W-what is it phi?" He asked almost anxious.
Sky and Pai were elated to see Rain finally talk after days.
"Eat first. Only then I am going to tell you."
Rain slowly nodded and opened his mouth as Phayu fed him.
Sky moved closer to Rain, careful of the IV attached to him. Rain hadn't eaten since that day. He literally collapsed, so they put him on IV.
Sky kept patting Rain's head as Phayu fed him. After a while Rain leaned into Sky's arms, a sign that he doesn't want more.
Phayu left and brought a cloth and cleaned his mouth and face and made him drink water.
"Tell me" Rain asked Phayu.
Phayu sat beside Rain and took him from Sky's arms, pulling him closer.
"I took your father's car to the garage. When I examined, I found the brake wire cut and the connection to the steering also, which made the car to lose balance and hit the divider. At that same moment, the truck may also have hit the car."
Rain took time as he processed.
"So, someone really killed my father... A-anything related to my mother?"
Phayu shook his head. "It looks like an accident. Or they must have covered up really well. I asked p'Pakin for help too. He will inform us if he finds anything."
Rain nodded and closed his eyes.

Sky winced at that and backed away and left to Rain's room. Pai helped Rain with the IV as Phayu held him and took him to his room where Sky already arranged the bed.
