On a dark, cold, storybrooke night, Regina strolled through the quiet streets, the dim glow of the old-fashioned street lamps casting eerie shadows on the buildings around her. The usual hustle and bustle of the quaint town had long faded, leaving her feeling like a solitary figure in a ghost town.

The tranquility of the night was shattered by the sudden sound of an argument echoing from a house at the edge of town. Regina hesitated for a moment, her curiosity piqued, before she made her way towards the source of the commotion. As she neared the house, the voices became clearer, and she recognized the unmistakable tones of Rumpe and Belle. Their heated exchange carried a strange undertone, like a melody of discord that set Regina's nerves on edge. Just as Belle stormed out of the house, as if in a cruel twist of fate, the darkness seeped out of Rumpelstiltskin's body, leaving him doubled over in excruciating pain, his form contorted with the agony of a power he could no longer contain. Regina's voice caught in her throat as she witnessed the unfolding scene, a sense of foreboding gripping her heart as she felt the tendrils of the dark mist reaching out to her with a chilling intent, drawing her into its insidious embrace.

The darkness, now free from its confinements, surged towards Regina with unnatural speed, a palpable malevolence emanating from its swirling form. In a moment of split-second instinct, she made a snap decision and reached out towards the inky blackness, allowing it to engulf her completely. At that instant, a surge of power unlike anything she had ever experienced before (more power than the evil queen herself ever contained) coursed through her veins, sending sparks of electricity dancing across her skin. The darkness merged with her essence, blending with her very being in a fusion of light and shadow, a transformation that left Regina reeling and gasping for breath, her senses redefined by the newfound depth of her connection to the mystical forces that roamed the lands of Storybrooke.

"Sorry, Regina can't come to the phone right now. Why? Because she's dead."

Long live the evil queen..
