The first rays of sunlight gently illuminated Storybrooke's quaint town. The early morning air was crisp, filled with a sense of serenity that Easter morning typically brings. Inside, nestled under the soft blankets of the master bedroom in the mansion on Mifflin Street, were the town's most intertwined souls: Regina Mills and Emma-May Swan.

As the golden light spilled into the room, their eyes fluttered open, each woman momentarily lost in the depths of the other's gaze. Regina, with her dark hair cascading over her shoulder, smiled softly at her girlfriend, whose blonde strands were tousled yet radiant in the morning glow. They soaked in the warmth of the moment. For Regina, mornings like these were rare treasures to be savored. The echoing memories of a troubled past faded in the presence of Emma's unwavering love.

As the gentle sunlight painted patterns on the walls, Regina's voice broke the tranquil morning air, "Come on, love, we should start the day." Emma, not quite ready to leave the comfort of their shared warmth, snuggled even closer, her fingers tracing lazy circles on Regina's back, "Just a few more minutes, please," she whispered, her voice filled with a hint of playful defiance.

Regina couldn't help but smile at Emma's endearing reluctance. "Alright, a few more minutes," she acquiesced, her heart full of affection for the blonde by her side. Then, with a mischievous glint in her eye, Emma suggested, "How about a piggyback ride to the kitchen?" Regina hesitated for a moment, the corners of her lips curling into a fond smile, "I suppose I can't say no to that." And so, in the cozy embrace of the morning light, they shared a tender moment, their bond growing stronger with each shared laugh and gentle touch, painting a picture of love and warmth that filled the room.

And as they prepared to leave the room, the sound of laughter filled the air as Henry and Grace, their hands intertwined, emerged from Henry's room. Emma, ever playful, exclaimed, "Down the stairs we go!" Regina, a touch of concern in her tone, interjected, "No, Emma, not down the stairs!"

Despite Regina's caution, Emma, with Regina still securely on her back, playfully jogged down the stairs, Henry and Grace's laughter trailing behind them. Grace, amused by the scene, turned to Henry and quipped, "If your family is this lively on Easter, I can only imagine what they're like at Christmas!" Her boyfriend planted a tender kiss on her cheek, chuckling, "You have no idea." With laughter and joy echoing through the house, they all followed Regina and Emma downstairs and into the bustling kitchen, where the harmonious chaos of their shared moments continued to paint a picture of love and togetherness.

As the morning unfolded in their cozy kitchen, the sight of four Easter baskets brought a smile to everyone's faces. The colors perfectly matched each family member, with Regina's basket in red, Emma's in yellow, Henry's in blue, and Grace's in purple. However, not to Regina and Grace's surprise, Henry and Emma's baskets were filled with pixi stix and peeps, much to their amusement.

Before long, the house was filled with the energetic laughter of a very hyper mother and son, still dressed in their Easter pajamas, dashing out the door towards Neal and Lilly's apartment. Regina and Grace, sharing a knowing look, quickly gathered their Easter baskets and some chocolate eggs for the family, heading out to the car to follow behind Henry and Emma.

Once the family arrived at the FireWing-Cassidy apartment, a lively scene unfolded before them. Zelena, Will Scarlet, and little Robyn were already there, creating a cheerful atmosphere. Will was engrossed in a game on the PlayStation 4 with Neal, while Henry quickly joined in the fun. Grace made her way to Lilly, who was holding Robyn.

As conversations sparked between Zelena and Regina, Emma couldn't resist exploring Lilly and Neal's refrigerator, perhaps in search of a tasty treat. The air was filled with laughter and chatter, creating a vibrant and heartwarming Easter gathering for all to enjoy.

The excitement escalated as Snow and David knocked on the door, announcing their arrival with Easter treats in hand. Emma's eyes widened with surprise as she turned to Regina, exclaiming, "My parents are here!" Regina, with her usual wit, responded, "What's bad about your parents? Besides the fact your mother talks too much."

Zelena, always ready for some mischief, suggested, "Everyone hide!" The group quickly dashed into Neal and Lilly's bedroom, trying to stifle their giggles. Confusion filled the air as Neal questioned why they were hiding from Snow White and Prince Charming of all people. Zelena hushed him, insisting, "Shhh. We're not here."

Outside the apartment, Snow turned to David, pondering the situation, "Hmm? Perhaps nobody is home." With a shrug, they decided to leave, unaware of the playful hide-and-seek game unfolding inside.

A/N: I know it's short, sorry. I've decided to change my schedule to  "StoryBrooke Sunday" where I have a whole week/ 7 days to do my own things, create chapters for other stories, this one and Ofc, spend time with family and friends. Yesterday I wrote a chapter for "Our Ever After" Wich will be uploaded soon, hopefully. And an upcoming (pun intended) story called "Hyperion Heights" Wich, if you guessed it, based on S7. Long story short, Henry has a twin and they were both adopted and named by Regina. Evie has exactly the same story as Henry does, only Evie is a lesbian. I just thought it would be interesting to see how her mom and ma would react to it, her family too (because when Henry met Ava and nick, Evie crushed on Ava. So it was way before ruby came out to snow) I hoped you liked this chapter! And as always, bee 🐝 you 😉❤️
