Both Lan Sizhui and Lan Wangji remained in that doctors office since Lan Wangji was also injured from his punishment he got for even defending Wei Wuxian. They spent a good month there since Lan Wangji reopened some of his wounds.

Lan Wangji walked with Lan Sizhui beside him. Lan Sizhui looked around and was in awe with everything looking to be so beautiful and peaceful.

"Follow along, don't fall behind" Lan Wangji looked at the small child.

Lan Wangji held the robes, the Wen robes Lan Sizhui just wore and the Black robe Wei Wuxian wore and wrapped around Lan Sizhui to keep warm. The child nodded and followed closely behind like a baby duck following mama duck.

"Where are we going?" Asked the child as he held the hand of the taller male.

Lan Wangji gently held the childs hand as he carried the robes with the other.

      "Home" He said.

They continued walking within the paths within the Cloud Recesses and walking up a stone path, they eventually arrived to a decent sized house that was a bit away from the rest of the clan, but still within Cloud Recesses territory.

     The Jingshi

The Jingshi was once the house that his mother was imprisoned in since he was a child. She died from slicing her own throat and her corpse was moved and once Lan Wangji was older, he moved to Jingshi and it became his own residence.

Never had he thought he'd have company living with him, but since that who campaign, he wanted to take Wei Wuxian and Wen Yuan and hide them here where he could protect them from anyone and everyone.

He brought one, but he's missing the other.

His goal was only half completed...

Lan Sizhui walked, but tripped over his own flowy robes. Lan Wangji looked at him and kneeled down to ensure he was okay. Lan Sizhui looked to him and smiled.

    "I'm okay!" He said.

"Mn" Lan Wangji nodded, and fixed his robes and the Lan Clan main family forehead ribbon that was now on Lan Sizhui's head.

Since Lan Wangji had agreed to adopt Lan Sizhui, he became a part of the main family. Despite not having the Lan Bloodline, Lan Wangji did not care. Ever since Lan Wangji met Lan Sizhui that day, and learnt that Wei Wuxian was the one who adopted him, Lan Wangji wanted to be that other parent who helped raise him, and thus, Lan Wangji considered Lan Sizhui as his own.

      "A-Yuan" Lan Wangji began.

"From now on, don't let anyone other than family touch your forehead Ribbon" He said, making sure the ribbon on the child's head was proper.

     "Why?"

"You'll understand better when you're older" He said.

Lan Sizhui nodded. The rest of the day was spent with Lan Wangji teaching him the basics of the Lan Clan.

Since then, the child has attended classes along with the other children of the Lan clan, and after said classes Lan Wangji would help him out with his homework.

"A-Die? Where are you going?" Asked Lan Sizhui.

"Night Hunt" Lan Wangji said as he tied his sword to his hip.

"Can I come?" Lan Sizhui got up and walked to him, holding onto his leg.
