"I'm sorry Wangji... I've heard word that Young Master Wei... Some say he's dead..."

      "WEI WUXIAN IS DEAD!!! REJOICE!!!"

"Wangji... You need to stop worrying about that Wei Wuxian! He was better off dead!"

"Wangji... You're still injured.. I don't think it's best for you to go out. Where do you plan on going?"

    "...Burial Mounds.."

"Wangji.. Do you wish for me to assist-"

    "No.. You have done enough..."

The Burial Mounds was just as gray and dull and deathly as it always had been, and probably will be. The trees were just as black and dead as the first time he'd seen this place. Normally he'd see a walking corpse here and there, but ever since what happened... Not even Walking Corpses or a single worm could be seen.

Were worms not even spared? Not even a single Crow was seen either...

The Burial was even deader than it used to be...

The tall male in White robes from his clan, his sword tied to his hip, hand on the handle ready for anything should something be a threat. His long black hair swayed behind him as he limped further into the Burial Mounds.

He looked around, hoping for any signs of the male he used to study with and had fallen for. But he didn't find any trace of him, only feeling the demonic energy of the Burial Mounds and one surrounding a certain bulky tree.

Suspicious of it, he walked to the tree, hand gripping the handle of the sword he'd have for almost all his life. He walked in front of it and was stunned to see the little paper man talisman that Wei Wuxian had loved to use.

Knowing that Wei Wuxian might've put something here or was here himself, the male in White Robes fell to his knees and removed the talisman and lifted the medium, but heavy boulder and his eyes widened.

What laid there wasn't Wei Wuxian himself. But rather the child he had adopted.

     Wen Yuan...

Wen Yuan was wrapped in the outer robe of Wei Wuxian when he emerged from the Burial mounds, the soft red fire on the ends. It looked as if he wrapped Wen Yuan in it to keep him warm from the harsh cold the Burial Mounds was half the time known for.

The male in White Robes shook and tears clouded his eyes.

    "...Yuan..." His voice cracked.
