You're a savage!

A pair of arms wrapped around my neck as the body in front of me dropped to the ground. Spinning around, I kicked the person away and gripped the bloodied blade in my equally bloody hand. My attacker - a well muscled man faced me, stepping back with an anxious gulp as I faced him.

"Careful," I told him with smug hostility, noticing he was close to the edge of a broken floor. "You wouldn't want to fall down there."

Turning his head to look around I approached him, my step threatening.

That's it. Intimidate him.

"Hey, hey, wait!" he called, his voice high with badly masked fear. "Y-you don't really want to kill me!"

Narrowing my eyes, I didn't reply as I continued to approach him. Eyes widening with terror, the man took a step back, almost falling over the edge of the missing floor-boards that gave way to a gaping hole. Grabbing his collar just as he fell, I pulled him up and threw him across the floor, gritting my teeth. He landed beside the dead body of his - now dead - associate, and he scrambled to his feet with a gasp of horror at the sticky crimson liquid surrounding their body.

"Let me go, please!" he pleaded. "Just tell me what you want, I-I'll pay you double!"

"The Red Room doesn't want money," I hissed, approaching him again as he backed into the wall. "The Red Room wants revenge."

"Revenge?" he asked in a faint voice as he pinned himself to the wall. "Wh-what for?"

"Betrayal."

A gurgling sound cut off his next words as my blade buried itself into his throat. Pulling it out, I watched with satisfaction as he dropped to the ground, gasping with a horrific noise for a few seconds, before stilling.

My sweet, sweet weapon.

Suddenly, my ears picked up on the faint crackling of a radio - a walkie talkie to be exact. Quietly, I went over to the gaping hole in the floor and looked down. A strike team, armed with large guns, were pouring silently into the building. Silently cursing, I glanced around at the bodies of the small group, before turning back to gaze down at the strike team. There was one way out. They were blocking the way out. I could never get past them.

I would have to improvise.

Scanning the area, I took note of a weak looking beam not far off. It was clearly rotten, as there was a hole in the roof where water was dripping down. On the far side of the building was a small ledge beside a cracked window. If I could swing over and break the rotting beam, I could bring part of the building down and distract the strike team, before making my way to the exit. The sound of boots on the half broken stairs alerted me to the near conflict of the strike team.

Putting my plan into action, I pulled out a widow's hook from my black catsuit and aimed it at a stronger looking beam just beside the rotting one. It hooked around it. Standing up, I backed up a few steps, before running forward. Jumping off the floor as it fell away, I swung towards the rotting beam. The sound of gunshots echoed in my ear and I outstretched my legs as I swung towards the rotting beam. Swinging into it, I crashed through the beam, breaking it as I did so with a loud cracking noise. I unhooked the hook from my suit just as my feet met the ledge, and my fingertips gripped onto the window-sill. Glancing back, the rotting beam was collapsing, along with part of the roof it was holding up. With the roof loudly collapsing so close to me, I flattened myself against the side of the building as best as I could.

I could hear the yells of the strike team, and taking my chance - hidden by the falling dust - I slipped towards the stairwell. As I reached the top of the stairwell, I quickly and quietly took down one of the members of the strike team, before running down the stairs, the crashing echoing in my ears.

"Down on your knees!"

A yell behind me made me stop still, heart beginning to beat quickly.

"Get on your knees with your hands above your head or we'll shoot!"

How the hell did I get caught? I slowly turned around, raising my hands above my head as I scanned my eyes over the multiple men with guns aimed at me.

"On your knees! I won't tell you again!" one of them barked, his finger resting over the trigger of his gun.

"Very well," I murmured, lowering myself to my knees, very aware of the group surrounding me.

One of them approached me, holding a pair of handcuffs. I watched him with narrowed eyes as he did so, biding my time.

I had to get out of here.

Don't fail, Aurora.

"Cuff her and take her back to HQ!" I heard the first man order to the rest of his team, clearly assuming I was going to go without a fight as he lowered his gun.

As the man with the cuffs in his hand grabbed my wrist, I jumped into action, electrocuting him with the bracelets on my wrists, before leaping up. A yell erupted from the men as they drew their guns back to me. Yells and gunshots were all that reached my ears as I leapt at each man, taking him down efficiently, dodging their bullets.

My heart thumped inside my chest as I grabbed one's gun and spun around, tossing it away and sunk my blade into his throat, before ripping it out and spinning around to face the remaining men.

Kill them for me.
You are perfect.
Kill them for me.
You are perfect.
Kill them.
Perfect.
Kill.
Perfect.
Kill.

Soon enough, there was only one man left, stumbling backwards, gun aimed at me.

"You're a savage!" he spat as I approached. "You deserve to die!"

He shot the gun, and missed as I slipped to the other side. I sped up into a run. He dropped his gun as I leapt onto his shoulders, taking him to the ground. His arms tried to pull me off of him, but I had him down on the ground. Gritting my teeth, I gripped my blade in my hand and reading to slit his throat like I had so many men before.

However, before I could execute the quick action, a loud gunshot echoed in my ear. Freezing, my gaze dropped to my abdomen. Dark, warm blood was spilling onto my black catsuit, and I quickly found my vision going blurry. My gaze found it's way back to the man below me, who had his gun in his hand, aimed at my forehead.

"Not so strong no-"

His voice was cut off by my blade buried in his throat. He gagged, and an unpleasant gasping sound arose from him as the gun fell from his hand and he reached for my hand, trying to pull it away. I watched with malice in my narrowed eyes as his body jerked as it fought for life, until he finally stilled, blood pooling from his neck.

Pushing myself off of him, I stumbled to my feet, pressing a hand to the wound in my side. My hand quickly became smeared with crimson blood as I stumbled towards the exit of the building, the world swaying in front of me, my legs becoming shaky and weak. My breathing was laboured and heavy, taking up a lot of energy to draw in oxygen.

I barely made it outside when a wave of darkness washed over me and I collapsed to the ground, hardly having time to cry out.
