Awaken || Grey x Reader

Chapter Four

As the morning began you looked around to see everyone was already awake and grabbing there things, waiting for you to wake up. Slowly sitting up you scratched your head almost forgetting what had happened last night. When you had looked at grey he didn't bother to look at you at all but Natzu looked to be back to his old self.

"Good morning Aika" Natzu spoke with a smile and helped you to your feet.

Looking around not quiet awake you brushed off your clothes and remembered what had happened last night, of the two boys, and how you fell asleep. Shaking your head you remembered the mission you all had set out to do.

Walking for another couple hours everyone was quiet no one even making a sound. Until the four of you arrived at a broken down dark village within this forest that no one had ever dared step foot upon.

"Welcome wizards of fairytail" an older man could be heard saying. His voice was scratchy and old as he gased upon each of you.

Smiling you had bowed and introduced your self to him and he began to show you all around. There were only two extra rooms within the village for them to stay so the girls and boys would stay separate. Which was a relief and then he began to tell about the quest.

"Ah yes, one of our ancient totems has gone missing, it is what protects our people from what lurks within these forest. The creatures come every night and we have lost countless men. What is left before you is all we have. I have an idea of who took it but we are not able to get it back ourselves." He spoke and continued on about how to find it.

As you all listened you already had an idea of who was behind it, easily. After he was done talking the four of you went to a place to grab food within the village and began to eat.

Having and idea of who was behind it caused you to lose most of your appetite so you only picked and poked at your food and what you did Eat was a small amount.

"You know something don't you aika" Erza spoke after wiping her mouth.

Looking up you could see all three of them looking at you and knew you would have to tell.

"Its Hades of Grimoire Heart" you spoke putting down your fork and looking down. "Something with the power of protection hast to be him." You said looking back up to see Erza in thought.

"We have to defeat him then" Natzu spoke shoving more food in his mouth not thinking much at all.

"Erza what are you thinking" you asked looking at her, for you know that her face ment she had a idea.

"Two of us stay and protect these people at night and two go and find Hades, he couldn't have gotten to far at this point" she spoke slamming her fork down.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"I'll stay, I won't be much use against dark magic but creatures I can." You spoke knowing that last time you caught dark magic you lost and ended up asleep for ten years.

Agreeing Erza stood up "Its final Natzu and I shall go, and you two will protect the people." She said grabbing him by the shirt.

With widened eyes you and Grey both stained at her yelling at the same time "don't leave me with her/him!"

She laughed and Made him stand up, which to his surprise worked as he had a chicken leg sticking out of his mouth.

"But I want to eat " Naztu muffled between taking bites of his food.

Sighing Erza let him go "we will leave at once, I'm trusting you to not to let anyone get hurt".

Putting your head on the table you could think of a million reasons why this all could go wrong. Not because of Erza and Natzu but because of how you and Grey clash.
