LEAH
Call me a baby whisperer or something because I actually got a child to stop crying. Like maybe I should be a babysitter because I'm literally so good with babies, I say that but I've only ever really held like two. But it's okay. We'd stopped at the park earlier for a bit while my dad handled something with the moving company, it was pretty. But some guy was staring at me for a while which was just plain creepy but we moved past that I guess."We're here." My dad said as he grabbed our suitcases from the car.
"You're joking right?" We were standing in front of a huge house, I don't even know if you can call it a house. It was huge compared to our house back in London, the whole road had massive houses. There was a black gate at the entrance of most places, I'd never seen anything like it.The house next door was just as big as ours, there were two cars parked in their driveway. I could hear some dogs barking somewhere from inside their house.
My dad walked ahead of me with our suitcases and unlocked the door. I followed him inside, it was definitely fancier than London but i guess it wasn't that bad. The stairs were the first thing you saw when you walked in, then the living room which was spacious. There was a fireplace in there, as well as a conjoining kitchen and dining room.
"The house used to be your grandparents, there are quite a few empty rooms so you can pick. I'll leave your suitcase upstairs in the corridor, the rest of our luggage and furniture is going to arrive in a bit." My dad told me while I took in the place I'd be living for who knows how long.
"Alright thanks dad," Me and my dad weren't that close, we had a decent relationship but he'd never be the person I go to if something happened. I'd always have gone to my mum but maybe that needed to change.I wasn't sure which room I wanted to stay in but I wanted something big, where I could have a nice bookshelf. It didn't take me too long to choose the room that I wanted, I just knew the moment I saw it that it needed to be mine.
It was off to the side of the house, it had a window facing our neighbour's house which I was just planning on ignoring. But the main show was the skylight, I'd always dreamt of having one in my room so when I got the chance I took it. You only live once so. My friend used to have one in her house. Every new year's eve we'd sit up on the roof and watch the fireworks. It was absolutely beautiful. We stopped talking but I'll never forget the fireworks.
My room already had the basic necessities like a bed and wardrobe but I couldn't make it my room until the rest of my belongings arrived. The only thing I could do now was wait, which I was absolutely shit at doing.
Knock!
My legs dragged my downstairs to open the door since my dad made no move to answer which I didn't appreciate.
The door swung open, there were two people standing outside. A man who looked like he was in his late 30's, might I add he was HOT. Like fuck me. And a boy who looked freakishly familiar. I took a moment to try and pinpoint where I recognised him from. It finally clicked, he was the park creep (it's giving Zade Meadows).
"Is your dad home?" The older man asked, he looked nice compared to the stalker kid.
"He's somewhere in the house, do you want to come in?" I asked him to be polite but honestly I hoped he didn't want to come in because I knew he'd bring the creep in with him. And spoiler alert I didn't want him in the same house as me, he might pull a Zade Meadows on me which I wouldn't appreciate."John, long time no see! How are you?" My dad came out of absolutely nowhere and then pulled the dilf in for one of those bro hugs. "Come in, I'd offer you a cuppa but we just got here," My dad invited the dilf and stalker into our house.
My dad and hot dad conversed in a conversation while the creep sat besides his dad. Well atleast I think he was his dad, who's name is also John as I've gathered so far. Their conversation was boring so I decided to go back to my room which was an amazing plan until my dad spoke up.
"Leah, why don't you take Tadhg up to your room. I'm sure you two will have a lovely time, leave your door open."
"Fine." I stood up from the sofa and started walking up the stairs, towards my room.I could hear him following behind me as I walked down the corridor, "Welcome to my humble abode." I attempted to be welcoming but it wasn't working out well. And honestly I was starting to think this boy had staring issues because his eyes haven't left mine since he arrived. *cough* creep *cough*.
"It's a bit plain." Was the first thing he said.
"Wow, I never noticed." Sarcasm was one of the things I was decent at. Obviously I know it's plain no need to point out the obvious. I'm not thick. Is what I would've said.Honestly I wasn't sure what to do next because this "tadhg" guy was still in my room and I didn't trust him to not murder me right now. So I did the one thing that I couldn't embarrass myself doing, right? I sat down on my bed. I'm not quite sure what Tadgh was doing but he was just standing in my room being a creep. But I mean you do you girl I guess.
"So…" Tadgh started speaking, "Is it just you and your Dad?" Hmmmm. He's giving stalker vibes again because like why would he ask that unless he was going to kill my family.
I was probably just overthinking but it could totally happen. "Yeah it's just us two here." I'm not gonna lie he didn't look horrendous so I think I can rest the stalker and serial killer accusations for a bit."It looked like there were alot of empty rooms in your house." Okay that's a bit weird.
"Umm yeah there are quite a few." I replied, honestly I had no clue where he was going with this conversation.
"What were the chances you picked the room with a window facing mine?" Excuse me what the actual fuck.
"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" I was absolutely baffled. I'm back on the stalker accusations. Wait, maybe I'm the stalker.
He shot me a smirk, "Your room faces mine princess. I think we'll be seeing a lot more off eachother." The smug look on his face made me want to lock myself in a different room and never come out ever again.Quite frankly I didn't want to reply to him now or ever. Thank god there was another knock on the front door which I gladly left my room to answer.
I was hoping it would be someone interesting, preferably a nice lady giving us cookies but it wasn't. It was just the moving people with our furniture and other things. But on the brightside I could decorate my room sometime soon, after I found where my decor was. We definitely bought way too many things but it's okay.I moved out the way because i'm not strong, like I'm not even going to lie when I say I'm weak as fuck. Maybe I should start going to the gym but it's okay.
A/N:
this was low-key really awkward chapter but it's gonna get better you have to be patient with me.
