James Grant sped down the river as fast as the boat would allow him. Edward sat next to him, watching his every move. There was quite a distance to go, according to the man, and James was not going to hesitate for a second.

If he let his guard down, he was done for. So he concentrated on the river ahead of him, steering left and right whenever needed.

It was almost night, now. And it was cold.
