Namjoon has been my best friend since I was eight years old. Ever since the day we met, we've been inseparable. Everytjing has been going well...

Until it wasn't...

Lately, I've been noticing Namjoon getting more and more distant. He doesn't want to hang out as much, he rarely texts or calls me back, he's always saying he's busy but won't tell what he's busy with. I decided to give him space, thinking that's what he needed, but after a whole month, I was getting tired of waiting for him to tell me what was wrong, so I've decided to take matters into my own hands.

One way it another, I'm getting some answers.

I parked my car in front of Namjoon's house and got out, walking up the stairs that led onto the porch, then approached the door and started ringing the doorbell repeatedly.

"Namjoon, I know you're in there, your bike is out here, so I know you're home." I said, loud enough for him to hear before ringing the doorbell over and over again.

"Namjoon, if I have to use the spare key you gave me, neither one of us is going to be happy. I know I'm suppose to use it for emergencies only, but I think coming over after my best friend hasn't spoke to me for a month is enough of an emergency to me." I said before ringing the doorbell again.

I stopped for a moment, my finger cramping up after ringing the doorbell nonstop for nearly three minutes.

"Fuck it, he's just gonna have to be pissed off at me." I said to myself as I dug around in my bag for the spare key. Once I found it, I put it on the keyhole, turned it, then opened it.

I walked inside and shut the door behind me, locking it before walking around the house to find him.

Namjoon is nearly six foot tall and pretty muscular, so there's not a lot of places he can hide in his house without me finding him.

Plus, he's always been terrible at playing hide and seek.

Once I saw that he wasn't anywhere downstairs, the next step was to go upstairs. I slowly walked up the stairs until I made it to the top of the stairs, then looked down the hallway, listening for any sounds.

Seconds later, I hear some shuffling from his bedroom. I walked to his bedroom door and quickly opened it, seeing Namjoon on his computer, wearing headphones and bobbing his head to some music. His back was facing me, so he couldn't hear or see me.

I looked around and spotted a pen on his bed. I quickly picked it up and gently threw it at him, watching as the pen hit his shoulder. Namjoon jumped a bit, pulling the headphones off and turned to look at me.
