Jimin's POV-Ten years later-
I can't believe I'm back here, I promised myself I wouldn't come back here, but I'm not really in a position to say no. I desperately need the money and Taehyung told me that he knew a director that needed new pornstars at the company he worked at.
I looked at the building, seeing that it was a lot smaller than the building I used to work at. I don't really have room to judge and small companies need love too.
I walked inside, looking around the small lobby to find Taehyung. He said he would be there when I arrived. When I didn't see him right away, I started to feel like this was a trick, just like it was ten years ago. As I was about to turn around and leave, I heard Taehyung's voice from behind me.
"Wait, don't go, I'm here!" He said between deep breaths, as if he just got done running a marathon.
I looked back at him and noticed that Taehyung had changed, but at the same time, hasn't changed. He wasn't as skinny anymore and looked like he grew a couple inches the last time I saw him. Other than that, he pretty much looked the same.
I remember when Taehyung and I started talking again. It was a little after I moved away from home and he wouldn't stop calling and texting me, telling me how sorry he was and he would explain everything to me. Even though I made it clear that we weren't friends anymore, I figured I would at least give him a chance to explain everything.
Long story short, Taehyung's family was falling apart. His mother and father would argue nonstop about money and their marriage and they were weeks away from losing their house. I already knew Taehyung's family were poor, which is why I always let him, and sometimes his younger siblings, stay over my house, even on school nights.
Taehyung was so desperate to keep his family together, that he went to Jungkook's house and ask him if his parents could help his parents from losing their house. Jungkook agreed, but of course, it came with a pretty big price.
In the end, it wasn't worth it. Even after keeping the house, his parents still argued and eventually ended up getting a divorce a few years later. Plus, he lost his best friend.
Even after he told me all of this, he still had to earn back my trust, which took many years to do. Ten years later, I would say we're cool, but definitely not on that 'best friend' level like we were before.
"You told me you would be in the lobby when I got here, Taehyung." I said, crossing my arms.
"I know I know, I lost track of time and literally ran here as fast as I could. I had to finish up some things on a phototshoot, so I didn't get out until a few minutes ago." He explained.
