- PoV Airborne Robots -

One afternoon, I was sitting in my close friend, Press Start's room, chatting animatedly about random things. It was the beginning of the school holidays, and neither of us had much to do. Without the demands of our co-curricular activities, we were left with rather a lot of time on our hands.

"Hey, Press..." I asked. "Do you have any projects in mind this holiday?"

"No, not really." she replied. "How about you?"

I shook my head. "Me neither..." I sighed. However, just as I was about to change the topic, a thought popped into my head. "Wait. I think I might have an idea."

Press Start raised her eyebrows and leaned closer. "Hm?"

"Why don't we build a toy airplane?"

"Seriously? Why that, of all things?"

"I mean, we always had no time to do it before. Why not now?"

"Well... it's not a bad idea..." Press Start said. "You know what, let's do it!"

"Thanks!" I replied. "I'll start drawing up some plans later this afternoon."

...

*the next day, in Press Start's room*

"I finished the design last night. Took me a few hours. Wanna take a look?" I told Press Start.

"You did it all yesterday?"

"...what I could, anyways. I haven't calculated how many or much materials I'd need." I replied. "I did draw detailed measurments of each part and its connectors."

"Wow. Show me, then." Press Start said. I took out my laptop and opened the file. Inside was the blueprint of what was soon to be a toy plane.

"Interesting... using styrofoam to create the body of the plane. Could work." she muttered. "How are we going to fit all the electronics inside?"

"Well... you see, there is a space under the wings, in the driver's seat... is there enough space, though?"

"3cm by 7cm by 5cm... Seems like it. We can fit the motor in the nose of the plane, too. The microbit and wires can fit inside."

"Okay. This could work." Press Start commented. "After we get the materials, we can begin immediately."

...

*2 days later, in Press Start's room*

"That's the last one, right?" Press Start asked me as I placed my bag of materials down on the floor.

"Yeah," I replied. "We can start construction now. Lemme go back to my room to take my tools, they're just next door..."

Press Start "hmm"ed and nodded her head as I walked out of her room. I went over to my room and started to search through my drawers for the toolkit. However...

"Where is it?" I muttered to myself. The toolkit had gone missing from its usual spot. It was just here yesterday... I thought. Where could it go?

I sucked in a breath and continued searching. There was no way I had managed to lose my toolkit. Especially just when I had gotten all the materials for my new project.

However, luck was not on my side. Even after I had exhausted all the spots I could think of, the pesky metallic orange box still refused to appear. After dumping out yet another drawer worth of objects on the floor and finding nothing of use, I cursed and started haphazardly throwing them back into the drawer.
