Walking on sunshine

The bell rang and I ran down the hall I knew had Pe next which was very convenient because my next class was right across from the gym was about to walk into the boys locker room until he spotted me. He turned and walked in my direction and as soon as he was close enough to hear me I said. "Yes." He gave me a puzzled look for a second and then realized what I was talking about. "Hm you seem excited, any particular reason?" He said with a smirk. "I was asked to be someone's girlfriend." I responded trying to be nonchalant. "Hmmm I wonder who asked you to be their girlfriend?" "would you like to know who?" "I suppose." "His name is Ka'merie." "So what did you say to this Ka'merie?" "My answer is yes." We giggled at how corny we were acting. "If you have no more questions I'll be on my way to class." I said. "Would you like to go for a walk around four a clock?" "Hmm I guess I can fit you in my schedule." I said before turning and walking to class. I walked to my class, walked in and sat in my seat. My teacher stood up at the front of the class. "Good morning class, Today you have a pop quiz." He said followed by the whole class groaned. (Oh fudge sticks I didn't study why now do I have to have a history quiz.) I thought to myself. He passed out the exam. I did as best as I could and I'm pretty sure that I failed but I guess I'll have to wait for Friday to find out. After class my teacher took back all of our quizzes and finally it was lunch my favorite class cause I get to be a big back. I met my brother and Kam and we went to go get some chic-fil-a. Then we came back to school and ate in the library. The whole time we were in the library I was trying to hide my cheesy smile. And thankfully Braxton didn't notice. Kam obviously noticed because every time he looked at me he was trying to hold in his laugh. "You have a pop quiz in history today, sadly I probably failed it." I said to Kam. "You failed a quiz? You're joking, right?" Braxton asked looking up from his Phone. "I think." I said. "Well If you need help I can help you study at my house on Saturday." Kam offered "Ye-" "No I'll be at a party Saturday I wouldn't be able to come with her and I don't like he thought of my little sister over at some  boys house." "First of all I'm not just some boy Brax I'm your best friend. Second of all, all we're just gonna be study so you have nothing to worry about." "Also BRAXTON  I can go places by myself so don't be bossy!" "Ugh fine I guess it's fine but if I find out y'all did anything I will slit your throat."  "Oh man I was so thinking about deflowering your sister." Kam  said sarcastically. "Haha do it and we can really fight." "Shut up Brax cause I can really beat you up." *time skip: a few minuets before sunset, Ka'merie and Renèe are at the park* My legs were hurting so Kam picked me up and put me on his back we were just enjoying the view of the park. Just then Kam put her down. "Hey why'd you put me down?" "So I can do this." He said helping me climb the tree that was in front of us. I grabbed onto a chunky branch pulling myself over it. Ka'merie quickly climbed up the tree he sat next me on the branch. Just then the looked at the sun which started to go down. "Wow this is a gorgeous view, and I can see the whole park from up here. How did you find out about this spot?" I said admiring the view. "I used to come here all the time as a little boy. This spot was my escape before my parents got split up. Well at least one of them." He said his face grew softer and softer as he talked. "What do you mean?" "Huh" he asked. "When you say one of them?" "I had more then one spot."
