The air was cold, It was a cloudy day as you felt the breeze hit ur face. Unloading ur stuff from ur mom's car, you had just recently moved from Minnesota. It was really only you and your mom, ever since that one incident happend that led you guys to be in this exact position right now, standing outside of the Addison apartments in Nockfell.

Flashback 1 day earlier.

Your mom and step dad had been fighting and arguing because ur dad went out drinking again. You were just tucked away inside of ur room with headphones on to not hear anything. But on some occasions you would listen in just incase ya know. You took ur headphones off listening, it's just ur dad calling ur mom names while she argues with him for drinking again like always.

You kept listening while practicing on ur electric guitar. Playing a few strings until it went quiet. Your mom came into ur room. "Pack up your things quick, we're leaving." Your mom says as there's obvious tears in her eyes, asking no questions you start packing ur shit. It actually didn't take long to pack as u brought ur stuff outside you see ur dad passed out. Finishing packing everything up you hopped inside of the car with ur all black cat, shadow. Seconds later ur mom hopped in with you, driving away, you ask her,  "Why was dad passed out and where are we going?.." your mom's eyes focused on the road as you asked the question. "I'm sorry sweetie, I just had enough of that shithole, we're leaving to nockfell. I had put something in ur dad's drink to keep him passed out awhile to buy us enough time to leave." You nodded as you turned on the radio. To be honest with yourself, u hated ur step dad's guts to death, he did nothing but made ur life a living hell for the past few years. So you were happy you were finally leaving.

Flash forward a day later.

You finished putting all ur boxes and stuff into ur new apartment. Exhausted, you sit on the bed on the floor with ur cat checking ur cell phone, bored you go and see ur mom. You go into her room, she's unpacking some stuff as you speak to her, "mom I'm boredd" you say slouching over a chair. "Go introduce yourself to our new neighbours, I'm sure they would like to get to know you, and you might even make some friends." You nod "ok whatever I guess.." you mutter.

Leaving your mom's room and out of the apartment you see a nice looking lady cleaning so you go up to her and say hi. "Hey my name is y/n we had just uh- recently moved here." You say fidgeting with ur fingers.
"Oh my! Sorry you just startled me a little." The nice lady says as she chuckles a bit. "I've heard you just came from Minnesota too?" You look up at her and nod "you're actually right." You chuckle a bit. "My name's y/n."
"Nice to meet you y/n. My names Lisa. I take care of the place, keep things up and runnin'. Also of you ever need help with anything don't hesitate to ask, okay?" You nod at her "so uh, how long have u been working here?" You ask out of curiosity.
"Actually, I don't just work here, I live here too! I'm on call 24/7 for any urgent maintenance needs. Hey! You know what? I have a son just around your age! I think you two would get along great. He's downstairs in our apartment, you should go introduce yourself!" You smile "really? I guess I'll go say hi right now."
"Great! His names Larry. He'll be in the basement, tell him I sent you down. You'll also need a key card to access it from the elevator though. Here take this one, I've got a few extras."
"Awesome! Thanks Lisa." You say as you walk away and head down into the basement apparently where Larry is.
You make it into the apartment as you see a room door saying "KEEP OUT". Assuming it was Larry's room you knock a couple of times. You suddenly hear a voice, "yeah?"
"Uh, hey Larry? Your mom said I should come say hi. I just moved here from Minnesota."
"Oh hey come in, doors open."
You twist the door knob and open the door walking inside your greeted by a long brown haired boy with a shirt saying "SF" on it. There's also another person you weren't expecting, another boy with bright blue hair also with long hair but just a bit shorter than Larry's with a black shirt and some dark red ripped jeans.
"H-hey" you say looking at ur nails chipped with black nail polish. "Hey, cool shirt! I'm guessing you like sanity falls too?" Larry says smiling. You had a sanity falls shirt on along with some black ripped jeans, you also had some bracelets on with a red pair of worn out converse.
You reply "yeah! I love their music!" You say smiling and chuckling softly. Your eyes look at the blue haired boy, he has some sort of mask on? You decide to speak "hey cool mask!" You say to the unknown boy, he finally speaks "I-it's a prosthetic."
"Oh fuck, my bad." You say rubbing the back of ur neck.
"It's cool, I'm used to much worst by now, so I'm glad you like it." He chuckles softly.
You smiled. You could tell he was smiling too. "Oh shit, totally forgot to introduce myself, so uh- my names y/n." You blush nervously.
"My names sal, my friends call me sally face. I just live in 402 with my dad."
Larry decides to speak up too "As you probably already know my names Larry, I also live down here with my mom."
"Cool!" You say smiling "oh shit I can't be too long, my mom's probably expecting me for dinner, bye guys!" You wave as they say their goodbyes to you too and u leave going back to your apartment.
You see ur mom cooking something as she just got groceries. "Hey mom"
"Hey sweetie, make any friends?"
"Actually yeah, their names are Larry and Sal! I met Lisa the maintenance lady who lives downstairs and she told me to say hi to her son and it seems we can become good friends!"
"That's nice hunny, dinner will be ready soon."
"Okay!" You walk to ur room flopping down onto ur bed.
Atleast 30 minutes pass by, you already ate and ur just sitting in bed playing games on ur cell. You also start school in two days, ur kinda nervous about that. You get bored again, slipping into the hallways u start walking around. Looking at ur shoes, you all of a sudden accidentally bump into someone, you end up falling to the floor. Quickly looking up, you see it's Sal.
"Fuck, my bad" you say smiling a bit obviously embarrassed.
"It's fine, I was just going back to my apartment."
You look up at him again as he reaches his hand out to you, you grab a hold of his hand and he helps you up.
"Yeah, sorry again I just got bored and was just walking around." You chuckle a bit.
"Wait going back to your apartment?" You ask with a hint of curiosity in ur voice.
"Yeah, I just live in 402 over there." He smiles
"Oh I guess we stay on the same floor!" You say with some happiness in your voice.
"Oh I guess I hadn't realized that.. hey didn't u mention being bored? Why don't u just come check out my place?" He asks his pretty blue eyes looking at you.
"Oh- I uh- sure!" You say as you start walking to his apartment together.
