THAT INCOMPLETE LOVE STORY

Chapter 5

*chirp-chirp*

Fading away the darkness of night, the sun came out by spreading over its luminance all over the vast sky for welcoming the glorious morning.

"Thank you for letting me stay at your house Marie".Adele smiled graciously as she said. She then moved her half-lidded eyes sedately towards Julia to feel a sudden shock. Julia's intense, fiery gray eyes were gazing at Adele.

With the heart beating unstoppably aching her chest, Adele slowly raised her palm and faintly waved at Julia. In return, she grinned brightly with waving back at her.

At that moment, Adele felt like her heart being pierced by Julia. She looked extremely beautiful when her fair, plumpy cheeks turned red and those deep gray orbs of hers sparkled as she smiled widely with her gleaming, white teeth showing.

"Um..'Kay then..Bye Julie..Le..let's meet at university..."

*Clack*

Adele got inside her lamborghini and sped off towards the mansion as fast as she could with her face turning whole red with astonishment. After she left, Marie went inside the house, Meanwhile, Julia stood leaning on their front door, watching the birds in their garden, having a lovely smile outside and fond thoughts inside.

"What happened to Adele? Why does her face turns red whenever our eyes meet? That never happened before when we were young?"

"Now I am confused! Is she in love with me?"

"Julia! Come and have your breakfast honey".Marie called out for Julia lovingly.

"Yeah Mom! C'min"

Julia sprinted towards the old, rusty dining table placed at the centre portion of their kitchen with wearing the utmost joyous look on her face.

*Vroom-vroom*

After a couple of hours, Adele reached at the mansion. The guards rushed towards the gold coated, gigantic front gate and hastily opened it for her. As she entered, all of them bowed their heads down obediently. She then slowly parked the lamborghini without any screeching sounds and went inside the mansion silently.

Adele looked around the mansion and led out a deep sigh of relief.

"Phew! Guess Queen Mother have gone to the company"

"Not yet, Princess Adele"

Adele felt startled, a chill ran down her spine of hearing that familiar, pleasant voice echoing through all over down the grand, imperial staircase. She turned her head up to see Eleanor standing in front of their massive family picture with gazing down at her smiling.

"Where did you stay tonight Princess?"

Eleanor asked in a solemn manner while stepping downwards the left portion of the staircase. Without thinking twice, Adele darted towards the right portion of the staircase, then uttered out loud.

"Why do you care Queen Mother? I will do whatever I want! Hmph"

Adele stomped up the stairs with flames of rage burning through her whole body. As she was about to step on the last tread, Eleanor said something that caught her off guards.

"What did you say Queen Mother?"

"I said that the news article...it have been deleted, but it was not enough so I paid a news channel to prove that news article to be fake and now finally...the problem is all solved..but!"

Eleanor walked towards the entrance of the mansion and took the files from the maid who gave it to her everyday before setting out to the company. After taking over the files from her hands, Eleanor gestured the maid to leave. She then turned to Adele, and spoke off her last words looking at her fiercely with cold eyes.
