Kou’s POV

“ ’Sukeee ” I pleaded for Sousuke to change his mind.

“You’ll reap what you sow. ” He crossed his arms and turned his back on me

“ But the couche is soo uncomfortable ” I hugged him from behind, I didn't care if I sounded desperate, there was no way I was sleeping by myself with no one to cuddle.

“Hmp” Sousuke pouted and averted his head but didn't made effort to pull me away

“Come on Sou..

I pulled him closer, tightening my grip on his waist

I'm really sorry.. ”

I leaned in closer to he's cheek, tracing my lips gently against his skin.

He's body felt stiff.

..Looks like he's getting flustered

“ L-... LET'S JUST GO TO BED ALREADY! ” He bursted, he removed himself from my arms and started to walk to the living room door, now that I had a better view I notice he's face were crimson red

My face fell as he opened the door, preparing to exit. Ig I'm stuck with the couche..

I let out a sigh and held my head low  “P-promise you aren't going to trick me into watching another stupid horror movie” I lifted up my gaze, Sousuke looked at me with a mix of emotions that both started with the letter F (Frustration and flusteredness (cuz he gay) )

“ P- Promise! Never gonna do that ever again! ” He let out an annoyed ‘tch’

“Come on” He opened the door wider

“Huh? ”

“It's late. We should get to bed. Besides-

It’ll get cold without anyone you could put you're clingy hands on”

Mitsuba’s POV

I finally found a comfortable position to sleep in, I slowly closed my eyes and let myself drift off

Until

“ I'm bored ” Kou whispered

I groaned obviously annoyed “Go to sleep or I'm throwing you back to the couche. ” I heard him whine a bit.

I laid on my side, facing the wall, I was still kind of angry at Kou for the Horror movie schtick

Minutes had gone by, I couldn't sleep. It was quiet, I didn't mind silence but this time it bothered me.

...

“Hey ’Suke..”

thank heavens he finally spoke, I would've start overthinking if that went on

“What? ”

“You still mad? ” I felt him moving closer to me

“Maybe. ”

I grew move nervous, why??

Suddenly, i felt a hand slip from my back through my waist; turning me around, another hand made their way to upper thigh “You haven't forgiven me? ”

My face felt so hot, he pulled me too close.. His face is at least 3 cm away from mine-

“I- ... Uh- get away- you gross pervert! ” I pushed his face away with my palm, it might've worked but he still remained his hold on me

“Aww you're such a tsundere..” “AM NOT” I let go of his stupid face and started pushing his chest away instead

“ Hehe cute... ” He chuckled and pulled me tighter, using his right hand; he gently caressed my cheek

“You're face feels hot...
Flustered? ” He chuckled softly, followed by a teasing smirk

This guy has no shame.

I laid stunned “O- ofc not. Who do you think you are that you could ever- ” I was cut off by Kou pressing his lips against my cheek, my stomach feels so stuffed with butterflies, I felt like I was about to vomit it

“Your ‘Gross pervert’ ” He grined

“i- ” I swear this guy’ll be the death of me..

“You have no idea how stupidity cute you look right now.. ” He chuckled while adjusting our positions, I was to flabbergasted to want to stop or question him

I was now laying on my back, Kou’s arm around me, he was laying on his side while facing me. I had no idea where to put my hands so they just sorta laid close to my chest.

“ This is gay. ” I crossed my arms

“You're gay”

“Stfu”

Both of them slowly drifted to sleep, with warmth from Minamoto; enough to shield Mitsuba from the freezing breeze of the Night. Their breathes in sync, face brushed by smudges of red.

Moral of the story: Never trick your partner to watch a horror movie so you could see ’em cling unto you

Also don't be a twink like Mitsuba
