4: Forced to date

It has been months after the funeral of their mother. They went back to New York and their live went on as usual. They worked ate, sleept and argued. 

"When do you finaly understand that you need to start dating?" Ella asked really annoyed. "Why do you think I don't date? It will just stop me from my work!" James argued. "You do know that it was mothers final wish for you to date someone." Ella said wanting that her little brother finally felt true love once. "Don't start with mother. She has nothing to do with this. She didn't even want me to date." James said starting to get a bit more angry. 

Ella grabbed her phone and showed it to James. She opened her and their mother's chat and scrolled up. "See here. It says. Uhm. Oh yeah here. Dear Daughter I know you don't want to here this again but I am asking you this again. Please help your little brother find true love. I know I am dying soon even though all of you don't believe me. But this is my last wish and if you can make this true I will be able to reast in Peace. Ps. You can begin with that girl named Rosa. You know one of your colleagues. She is so nice and I think also a good partner for James. She also is trying to find a partner. But if he finds someone else make sure she isn't a gold digger or something like that. See Jamy it was mothers last wish. Here exactly this part." Ella read. While pointing at her phone.

Jamy was the nickname she gave James even though he didn't like the name. "Hey don't call me that. You know I hate that name!" James said a bit annoyed. "But seriously. Please try to find your true love. You have read it yourself. She wanted that." Ella begged. 

"Ok fine. I will go on a date with Rosa. But if this doesn't work out I will have one year to find love. Are you ok with that?" James suggested. "Oohhh. Thats an idea that I wanted to hear. Even though I imagined it a bit different. But yeah this could work out." Ella said happily.

"If you don't mind I will now ask Rosa when she has time for you. Oh she is calling me right now. You be quiet for a second. Ohh hey Rosa. I was just talking about you with James. Mhm mhm mhm. Yeah I wanted to ask you when you have time to go to a date with James. What did you just say? Ohh ok. Next weekend? Satur... Ok on Saturday that would fit with James. Where? Ohh thats so thoughtful of you. Ok bye see you at the university tomorrow. Ok James on Saturday at 2pm you have a date with Rosa at your favourite restaurant." Ella said. 

Ok, ok. I don't really care. I will just go to my room now." He said while receiving a call from Rosa. "Hi Rosa, why did you call me? You just called my sister and talked to her why do you need to tell me? Uhm my sister? She isn't here right now. Why? It's about our date! No, no, no. I didn't plan that date it was my sister who wanted me to you know date someone. You have a boyfriend?! Why did you agree to the date then? Your parents don't know you are dating? But what does that have to do with anything with you accepting the date? Oh you where on speaker and your mother heard it and told you to say yes. That makes sense. But what are we going to do now? You have a plan? Great let me hear it." He responded to Rosa and they had a long conversation.

"Yes, I wont have to date Rosa. But now I need to find a different girl to date . Why did I give myself only one year to find someone? Ok so now I will have to search on the internet to find someone. But it will be unlikely to find someone. But it is worth a shot." James thought. 

James searched for about two hours until he finally gave up. "Is it really that hard to find a nice girl who isn't a gold digger, who can speak my language and isn't to old for me?" James groaned.

"Dinner is ready." Ella shouted from the kitchen. James walked to the living room and turned on the TV. It was netfilx night for them. They had that tradition already for about 18 years and they have never missed it. The rule was no phone calls, no phone in general and most importantly don't do work or even talk about work.

"Ohh what did you make? Is that pizza and chicken nuggets? Ohh yum!" James said realy happy.  "So we are watcing young sheldon further like last time?" Ella asked. "Of course. What else?" James responded. 

They sat on the couch and turned on Netflix. James opended Young sheldon and they began to watch. They where at season 7 episode 10. After two hours they where finished with watching. 

"Why did George have to die? But we also have a different problem than that. What will we watch next time? We are finished with young sheldon. Ohh I have a idea what if we begin watching the Marvel movies? I have always wanted to see them. Waht do you think?" Ella asked James. "Sure why not. I also wanted to see them anyway. And Ella thank you for the food. It was really good. Next time I am cooking." James responded. "You said that last time and you completely forgot." Ella mumbled. "What did you just say?" James asked confused. "Uhh nothing." Ella answered embarrassed for him. "Good night James." "Good night Ella." They said as they where walking towards their room.

The days flew by and Rosa, James and Rosa's boyfriend where planing the date. "But what if my mom is spying on us? She does that all the time." Rosa complained. "Then me and John have to change places in the batroom and we will have to wear the same clothes." James suggested. "We are the same hight and have the same hair color soo." John admitted.

Soon enough it was the next day. James, John and Rosa were finishing their plan. Then the  plan began. John went to the bathroom five minutes before Rosa and James arrived. He and James where wearing the same black shirt and jeans.

Then James and Rosa arrived. They greeted eachother and went inside. James sat with his back towards the window and Rosa sat on the other side. Soon after the waiter came and asked them to order. James and John agreed to get James favourite so that Rosa's mother won't get suspicious. A few minutes later the drinks came and James drank half of it. After five minutes James excused himself to the bathroom. There he gave John the sign to go to Rosa and James changed his clothes and wore a wig. Then he went outside and began walking towards his home. His house was about 4 miles away. So he hopped none of his fans would recognise him. 

He walked and realised he walked into the wrong direction. But he noticed it to late. He already walked passed the James Everett fan club. They  noticed him and began screaming his name. "Shit!" James thought as he began running. 

But it where to many and his biggest problem was. He is walking in the wrong direction. So he grabbed his phone and called his driver. "I am getting followed by fans at the moment. I need you to pick me up.  I also shared my location with you so come here quick." He said out of breath. Before the driver could answer James hung up. After some minutes of running he saw a small street he ran there and accidentally bumped into a girl.

And the main thing happened so I am happy with it.
