CHAPTER 2: GOD OF WINE

Lumine and the others traveled to the Knight of Favonius headquarters to receive medical attention for Lumine's wounds after battling with the dragon that was wreaking havoc around Monstadt and injuring Lumine in the process. To heal Lumine, the Knight of Favonius summoned their greatest physician, or as we may say, doctor cum sister.

"Hi Miss Jean, I get your call here. If you should be wounded, I'll take care of you immediately away. Miss Jean, please use caution." Barbara, the doctor, spoke in an irate and alarming tone.
Barbara, not fully aware of the situation, declined Jean's question. After describing the circumstances and previous happenings, Barbara treats to Lumine's wounds and expresses gratitude to her for keeping Monstadt safe while Barbatos was away.

Barbara then gave a self-introduction: "Hello, my name is Barbara. In addition to being a church sister, I am a healer in the Knight of Favonius. I fervently revere "Barbatos," our god of freedom, and I am confident that, in light of today's events, he will do all in his power to assist us. I'm going to go pray now for everyone's safety. Barbara then departed the room. In honor of Barbara, Lisa wrote a few additional words that said, "Barbara wants to be like our grand master—kind enough to forgive, but firm enough to punish." Everyone had a conversation going about something.  

Abruptly, a chomping noise could be heard next to the rack. Paimon was putting cookies in her mouth, since they had been given for everyone. Paimon's response is unclear since she said that she was hungry and that this does not constitute stealing while chewing.

Because of the attack, the room's formerly thick air becomes lighter. After hearing Paimon's explanation, everyone laughed, and the time passed quickly. While wandering Monstadt at night, Paimon and Lumine came onto a Tarvern and made the decision to have some alcohol.

When they arrived at the winery, they discovered Kaeya was already there. "Greetings from my friend in Monstadt's paradise. Let's raise a drink to freedom and put all of our sorrow and suffering behind us."Kaeya gave us a warm greeting and a welcome drink.

Sitting slightly off from our table was an individual who was drinking by themselves. Lumine saw him, then disregarded him. He eventually sat down at the table and began babbling "You know that Dragon would have kissed every single person in the SitY. I believe that now is my time to help MonstaDt". The inebriated man began babbling, which ultimately led to his expulsion from the tarvern. 

Lumine has several unanswered questions as the night comes to a conclusion. The following day, close to the Barbatos Statue in the city center. A street entertainer putting on his act. Everyone was assembled in that location. "He's the same drunkard from last night," Paimon pointed to the inebriated person and stated in disbelief. "I Know, Lets wait for him to finish his performance then ask him some questions about yesterday night." Paimon and Lumine talk and strategize how to ask inquiries without raising red flags.

Paimon said, "Ummm..... Hello mister....Drunkard" after the performance. "Hi Miss, I'm Venti, and no, I'm not the Drunkard. I don't drink too much," Venti stated sternly.

Lumine began to interrogate him, "You mentioned that you were going to assist Monstadt in escaping that dragon," she began." What is your plan for doing it?" "Ohh, he's Dvalin, my pet dragon," Venti retorted. Lumine turned, her expression disappointed, and began to move away from Venti.

Paimon shrugged, equally baffled. "I don't know, but he still seems pretty drunk to me. Maybe we should just leave him."

"Hey, hey. Hold on. I'm being honest here. Let me clarify". Lumine and Paimon exchanged nods and bided their time for him to conclude his exposition.

"You know my name venti, which is not familiar to you," is how it is explained. Let me use the other term that is more widely used among the residents of Monstadt. "My name is Barbatos." After hearing this, Lumine and Paimon walked away in shock.
The explanation goes on: "My pet dragon, DVALIN, is the one that attacked the city. It had been acting inappropriately for a while. When I last saw it, I was attempting to find a solution when someone entered the woodland. DVALIN hastily left in order to keep it a secret." Lumine and Paimon embarrassed each other, but they didn't reveal their presence.

In order to fan the flames, Paimon added the phrase "It's bad to eavesdrop someone." Paimon received side eyes from Lumine.

Venti suggested that they go somewhere and have a drink while talking to continue the conversation. "So you wanna go in tarvern?" With a questioning tone, Paimon asked. "You know me well paimon, then shall we?" Although Lumine consented to travel, things took an odd turn. Venti became unruly after having one or two drinks, which prevented Lumine from having a conversation. Lumine simply left the tarvern, and the following morning, she discovered Venti laying close to it, resembling a drunken person who had recently been in an accident.

After assisting him, Venti informed Lumine that Dvalin's tears contain some curse energy, which could be the cause of Dvalin's rage. Lumine asked, "Is this the one Venti was finding?" as she handed up the tear. "So it was with you the whole time and you are not even tried to tell me?" Lumine used the justification that Venti was intoxicated and wasn't listening to her when she tried to discuss this last night. "All right, my fault, but we have to find a way to cure this tear. If we can do that, there will be chances we can cure Dvalin as well." Lumine says, quickly turning the table.

Venti proposed that he attempt using his performance to heal this tear after gathering his thoughts. "How can you do that is this instrument enchanted or something?" Shocked, Paimon asked. "You overlooked it? Venti said, "I'm Barbatos, and this instrument is obviously enchanted." 

They may turn the fiery red tear into a sky blue tear after making certain preparations. "It's working now we can help Dvalin as well, Paimon is so excited." Paimon was happy, but only for a little while, as they turned to confront Venti. *sighs* "Ok, I dont wanna break your excitement or anything but we cant cure dvalin." Venti said as much. "Why we cured the tear you said it yourself, If we can cure the tear dvalin can be saved from this curse." "I am aware that I stated that, but we are unable to heal him at this time. Dvalin is a dragon, even though he is my pet, and in order to heal him, we must first weaken him.

Venti made the suggestion, "Lumine, you too have battled Dvalin in the past. Did you discover anything unusual? ". "Yes, I have never seen a blue-colored dragon," Lumine answered.*Venti stares lumine* *Lumine stares Venti* "Ok, Sorry I haven't saw anything unsual than a dragon trying to destroy a city." Lumine said.

"I have an idea; we're going to Dvalin's lair. Venti proposed, "You will weaken it, and I will cure its curse." Why Lumine must perform this task. You do it because it's your pet," Paimon yelled. "Can you cure the curse If I weaken it?" Venti asked Lumine and Paimon. Neither Paimon nor Lumine responded. "After it settles, I'll heal it and you'll weaken it. We'll get together once again tomorrow at 12:00. Venti said, "Don't be late." "Saying someone who will be lying on the floor next morning?" Paimon laughed.

Thus, the night arrived when Lumine and Paimon had to decide to battle a dragon in order to locate her brother. Lumine requested assistance from the Knight of Favonius. They gladly consented to assist Lumine in taking down Dvalin.
