A/n: I wrote this months ago but apparently never posted it lol. My apologies. Writing has been hard lately so I'm thankful to all those who still read.

After a moment the green smoke had cleared and y/n found herself standing on top of the Daily Planet.
"Such a WONderful view don't you think?" Maxolo said emphasizing the first part of the word.
"It is quite nice" y/n said not breaking her line of sight from the view. She knew Max was behind her, she just didn't care.
"Happy that someone finally brought you up here, hehe." His tone was one of mockery. This was Superman's and Lois' spot, but y/n had always wished he'd bring her here instead.
"Happy, not happy what does it matter Maxy? You called me here so what do you want?"
Y/n finally turned to face the green man.
"Weeelllll... how'd it go hm? Did the flying boy scout agree to my terms?" He asked, excitement in his voice. This whole ordeal really seemed to excite Maxolo to the point that y/n wasn't so sure this was about marriage like he claimed.
"He agreed-" she was cut off.
"WONDERFUL! I'll make preparations right away!--"
Before he could wisk away in a cloud of smoke y/n grabbed his arm and calmed him down a bit.
"That's not all Lettuce Leaf, take a seat."
Max did as he was told and sat down directly across from the girl.
"This better not end in death. I want to make that clear, no one, and I mean NO one will die right?"
"Oh y/n if I wanted you all dead, you'd be dead" he said with a smile breaking his lips.
"I figured, but it doesn't hurt to ask since you literally put my friends life force in my body essentially killing her."
"Would you like to speak to her?" He asked. Before y/n could respond Maxolo had a hand placed on her forehead and suddenly everything went foggy.
Y/n opened her eyes and found herself in a strange place.
'is this my mind?' she thought to herself.
Across the way she noticed a figure sitting next to a body of water.
'Lois!'
Y/n ran to the girl as fast as she could. "LOIS! LOIS!!"
Upon hearing her name the girl turned around to face y/n, a warm smile growing on her lips.
"Y/n" she said softly. "I'm happy to see you."
"You're happy?!" She said dragging the girl into a warm hug, "I'm ecstatic! You have no idea what I'm doing, but damn it Lois I'll free you from here. Superman is helping, soon you'll be back in your body Lois I promise".
Lois smiled. "I'm glad to hear it"
"Is something wrong Lois?" Y/n asked. Lois didn't seem cheerful nor did she seem sad.
"I get bits and pieces of your mind in here. I've seen you and Superman...he really cares for you y/n"
"Lois I'm sorry I know-" The famed reporter cut her off.
"There wasn't anything going on between us...at least nothing that I know of".
Her expression know showed one of sadness.
"I'm not sure what to do y/n, I like him but so do you"
"Lois listen to me" y/n grabbed her shoulders and turned her to face her.
"Forget Superman and forget all these feelings flying around. Right now getting you back is all I care about. What happens after... well, we will deal with that later. It'll be okay Lois I promise".
As she went to hug Lois, y/n could feel a cloud of smoke surround her.
"Enjoy the visit?" Maxolo asked with a grin.
"You didn't let me finish my hug" y/n said with a little pout.
"Oh my darling how terrible" Maxolo said drapping himself over the railing. "How will you ever forgive me" he said adding onto his dramatics.
"Catch me" the girl said.
"Catch me? What does that-". Before Maxolo could turn around fully, the determined reporter had thrown herself off the roof of the Planet sending Maxolo into a panicked frenzy.
"Y/N YOU SON OF A BITCH HOLD OOOONNNNN!" Maxolo screamed as he too threw himself off the Planet.
Max didn't have to throw himself off the Planet, as a snap of his fingers could have had y/n back safely back onto the ground but instead Max drove after her, caught her, and landed on the ground while holding the reporter in his arms.
"Please my dramatic angel don't ever do that again" Maxolo begged the girl. "Is this how Superman feels everytime?" Max said almost sounding defeated.
"Haha probably 😂" y/n said laughing her ass off. "But then again I've always had a flare for the dramatic" she said now walking off towards a taxi.
"Perfect" Max said to himself as he watched the h/c girl get into a taxi and drive away.
After arriving home y/n took a quick shower, made food and waited...
Almost as soon as she sat herself down on the couch, she felt a burst of wind fly open her balcony doors.
"ARE YOU INSANE Y/N?!"
'Ah there he is, the boy in blue' she thought to herself.
"Mark told me you fell, FELL FROM THE TOP OF THE PLANET! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!" He said his tone getting more panicked and angry as he spoke.
Y/n giggled to herself.
"You're giggling? Did you get into the Joker's gas is this why you're acting crazy?" The super asked her, his concern only worsening.
"Haha no, you're just not the first person to say that to me today" she said still remaining on her couch. "Come here Clark" she said her handing signaling him to sit down next to her, and he did.
"You know I care for you right?" She asked with a nervous tone.
"Of course I do y/n you know-" she cut him off.
"Just let me finish Clark. *Sigh* I got to speak with Lois and it got me thinking. I can't stay trapped in this 4 person love triangle shape thing...all these feelings, yours, mine, Lois', it's all just so much for me. I want to take this time to say something to you. Clark, heh Superman" she took his hand, "Kal-el, I have romantic feelings for you and before you try to say something just listen. My feelings are my own and they are real and strong and honestly as much as I hate to admit it, Maxolo's plan of meddling in our affairs have only made me realize that so much more. In two days you'll compete with him and hopefully you'll win and save Lois' life. After that...we can talk about this again alright, but only after okay?" She asked her nervousness boiling over. This was a big step for y/n and she knew it was for Clark too.
Clark held her hand gently as she spoke, never letting it go until the last works she spoke.
"I understand y/n, and I'll respect your wishes, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving you alone" he said, his tone was a gentle one.
"Thank you Clark" she said with a gentle smile.
"Since you're here, you wanna stay and watch a movie? I got popcorn and all the fixings" she said with a proud little grin.
"I'll do anything with you" he said.
