THURSDAY
Present time 11th January 2024

It's been almost 2 weeks since I've seen Lewis. I'm not complaining about, it's like Mark dying all over again so I've been a bit on edge. When Mark died, Lewis came along and it was hell. I have to rush home everyday praying that he doesn't come back and that he's gone for good, but I need to get home early just incase he is there.

I'm sitting in class patiently waiting for the bell to ring, when i feel someone touch my shoulder, I flinched a little and look to see who is it. "Girly you need to relax you're always in a hurry after school." My best friend, Juliette whispered. She's alway been there for me but she doesn't know what happens to me. "I know, I'm just so tired I need a nap and then I have to do homework." I lie, I tend to lie alot and I've become good at it. "Your homework is not even done sometimes when you come to school, but you still seem to get straight As. And the teachers love you." She shakes her head. "I know, I study Julie. You should try it sometime." I laugh and she rolls her eyes. "You-." She starts but gets interrupted. "You know class is almost over so unless you both want to stay until later I suggest you keep quiet and finish your work." Ms Graham says, she turns to the front of the class and pretends to do her work.

A few minutes later the bell rings, packed my bag and I was about to rush out of class. "Ms Valentino, please stay behind." Ms Graham says, I sigh and walk to her desk. "Yes Ms Graham." I wait for her.

She's marking something. "Just a second." She says, can she hurry up I need to go. "Ok, thank you for your patience. Schools just opened and you are behind on work. You haven't submitted your assignment and your homework is not up-to-date." She stands up and comes to sit on one of the desks. I don't say anything. "You get straight As but it's been dropping and now you've stopped doing your work, it's only true 3rd day back so I'm giving you time." She says. "Thank you Ms G, I'll try my best." I don't have time for this can she let me leave already. "Ok, have a good day Rosalie, I'll see you tomorrow." I nod and leave.

I rush out of the hall way and into the parking lot. "Hey Rose slow down." Greyson shouts, he's my other best friend. Speaking of bet friends Juliette is standing next to him. "I need to get home, I'll see you guys tomorrow." I really need to get home. "Hey, come on you're always in a hurry. Come hang with us for a little." Julie says, I really want hang with them I do. But I need to make sure that they are safe from Lewis, not that he's come these past few weeks but still he could show up at any minute. "I promise you both that I'll hang out with you tomorrow, I just need to get home right now ok." I tell them and they look a little disappointed but don't push the matter. "Ok you better. If you do want to come hang with us we'll be at my house, just let me know and I'll have my mum come pick you up alright." Grey is always talking to me as if I'm a child. "Thank you Grey, amd stop talking to me like I'm a child." I roll my eyes and they both laugh at me. "Bye Rose, see you tomorrow." They turn around and leave I wave bye and rush away before they can stop me.

I go to the back roads of the school and take the bike that I stole from Mark. Lewis knows about the bike he thinks it's in the garage but I steal it to go to school. I had to walk to school when Mark was alive and it was not nice.

I hop onto the bike and drive home. I go to the back roads because I know the cops sit on the corner on the street before the one I
Iive on.

I learnt how drive when my mum was alive. She would take me on the weekends when I was 6. Once I turned 10 I would steal Mark's bike and drive it to get away.

I turn onto the street I live on and drive upto my house, I pull into the driveway and see that Lewis is still not here. Thank God. I go inside and everything is a mess, someone was definitely here. It's normal for the place to be messed up, I always have to clean it up.
