Chapter 3: Loving you

This Chapter is: Mostly fluff

Dogday smirked a bit as you put a muffin in his lap. "Bless your heart.." he said with a small chuckle as he began to take a bite from the muffin feeling you lean on the edge of the couch.

The sweetness of it made him smile more, he felt a bit happier and more relaxed, his sickness slowly diminishing until it was almost all gone. The flavor was all he could think about as he took another nice bite.  You smile delighted with how well you were handling things since the gang left. "Mm... I heard Hoppy spilled hot soup on your lap?" You inquire.

Dogday nods with a yawn as he tried to stay awake with you. It was definitely a struggle since he did feel like the fatigue was getting to him soon.It did hurt a bit, but it's alright.. I can barely remember it happening now.. I know she wouldn't mean to hurt me y/n" he said with a chuckle under his breath. "You know, a lot of things have happened today.." he said yawned again. "I can hardly keep my eyes open anymore, my darling.." he warned

You feel slight disappointment that you wouldn't be getting any tonight, but you smiled otherwise. "Okay Baby, I'll ease that lap later, okay?" You kiss him gently. A flush of red overtook his face the second your lips touched his again, he let out a bashful chuckle as he held you close to him. "Oh I'll be looking forward to that, no doubt." he said in a hoarse voice.

Dogday let his head rest on your chest as he tried to get comfortable again. "I'm about to fall asleep with your love around, aren't I..?" he said softly. You slipped into a tight cuddle with him, on the edge of the small couch, only not falling because of his right arm holding you to him.

"Goodnight my love" You whisper hearing his soft happy whimpers, a few murmurs coming from him as he drifted to sleep. "I love you, my dear..." were the only words he managed to say before his sleep took over once more.

TIMESKIP

The next morning you were cooking a pot of (whatever soup) having no issues like the gang did heh. You hum along to (favorite music) with a pink apron that said 'Good lookin's cookin.' Woken from the aroma Dogday wandered into the kitchen with scuffled fur and some drool. "Sleep well Darling?" You ask to your boyfriend who currently looks like the zombie from the Warm Bodies movie lol. He took a big stretch and yawned softly "Yes, I did Love" He smiled with tired eyes.

"I feel a lot better than yesterday that's for sure.. still somewhat tired though.." he said rubbing his eyes. "Want me to help with that?" you whisper standing behind him giving him a light shoulder massage.

"Oh but you've already helped so much, I don't want to be a burden my Love.." Dogday started to shiver when he felt your hands touch his shoulders. His muscles were so tense from resting on the couch for too long, his back cracked a bit with your touch and a small groan came out of his mouth, he felt stiff as a stick from yesterday and it felt amazing to have some relief for it. "Oh... goodness that feels nice.." he murmured as he began to feel the tiredness in his eyes go away gradually.

Asking in a hushed sultry tone you whisper into his ear seductively "Want that relief  I offered last night? I'm sure you'd feel much better after that hm? more awake?" Dogday felt his stomach sink at the thought of it, but a blush rose up to his cheeks and he felt his heart race a bit when you spoke slowly in his ear. "God.. Yes.. I'd love that.." he said and licked his lips forming a soft smile, even a small tail wag.

You smile and give a quick lick on his chin, for canines it was like a kiss. He felt all his fatigue disappear. "Yes please..." he muttered softly as his eyes looked back at you with a flirtatious smirk. Dogday followed you down the hallway and into the bedroom, his energy back in full force as it was like you were the medicine to his mind, body, and soul. A blush had come back to his face as he couldn't wait for the special treatment you promised him yesterday.
