Well, shit, guys. Didn't know I'd be so into this, it's only been 3 days and I have only have 3 chapters left to write—

—Like most of my short books, I'll probably stop at 10. But hey, thanks for being here with me. As always, any book suggestions you want me to do, just comment and I'll follow up. Thanks!

Enjoy the chapter!

The Dark Lord would be leaving tomorrow. The blizzard was almost over, right? Yeah.

Was it odd The Chosen One was sad to see him go? He wouldn't have minded if he stayed longer. He wondered what The Dark Lord thought. He was probably happy to leave, at least, that's what The Chosen One thought. The Chosen One made breakfast today, eggs, croissants, an entire ten pounds of salt for The Dark Lord, and bacon. He placed the plates on the table, stretched his arms.

The Dark Lord finished showering and changed into some warm clothes, blinked when he saw the food. "What'd I do to deserve such star treatment?" He grinned, The Chosen One rolled his eyes. "I should've poisoned it. The amount of salt you need should kill you, though." He responded, sitting down.

The Dark Lord shrugged and sat down himself, sprinkling salt on the eggs and eating. "I give it a 8/10." The Dark Lord said when he finished. The black stick-figure rolled his eyes. "Shut up."

The Dark Lord fiddled with the controller to the Xbox, then looked over. "Are you gonna miss me when I'm gone?" The Dark Lord asked. The Chosen One snorted. "Are you being serious?" With no response. "Oh, really? Ugh, you're so cheesy." He looked back to his phone.

"Is that a no?" The Dark Lord asked.

"No."

"Is that a yes?"

"No."

"Is it... a maybe?"

"Not really."

"Unlikely?"

"No."

"Probably?"

"Maybe. Now shut up." The Chosen One shoved The Dark Lord to where he fell off the side of the couch. "Rude," The Dark Lord rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling. He hopped back on the couch. "But you'll totally miss me." The Dark Lord was grinning again. The Chosen One turned away. "God, you're annoying." He said. "Just for you, Cho'." The Dark Lord lay back. Cho'? Hadn't heard that nickname in a while. The Dark Lord had 'humbly bestowed' him the said nickname when he was feeling lazy. Stuck around during their childhood.

The Chosen One got up. "Alright, lazy ass, we need to do something. King of the Hill again?" He grabbed the deck of cards.

The Dark Lord looked over and sat up, grinning. "Oh, you're on!"

4-4. They were tied— and they were both having fun. Whenever one said they were going to win again, the other always did, so they decided to shut up and just play the game without throwing insults in the other's ear.

The Chosen One was almost surprised that The Dark Lord even had that ability to think so clearly. Jeez, he always thought he was stupid.

One thing he would also never admit, he really would miss The Dark Lord when he left. But he wasn't going to think about that now.
