The robot of Remnant

Prologue

In this the robot is a differ robot and is named Rex with black coloration instead of the normal blue or silver

In Remnant on the island of patch

Two girls are playing around while their parents are watching them having a cookout

Summer: aw... look how cute they are Tai.

Tai: yeah they are. Hey Qrow!

Qrow is sitting on the bench drinking some beer

Qrow: what!

Tai: can you bring me some more patties?

Qrow: why don't you ask Raven?

Tai: because she is in the bathroom.

Qrow: ok fine! (Goes in the house to get the patties)

Ruby and Yang are playing tag but they went too far and got lost

Ruby: Yang where are we?

Yang: I don't know. Cmon let's go retrace our steps.

Ruby agrees but then hear a twig snap

Yang: wh-who's there?!

A Beowulf comes out of the trees and once it went to attack. A hole appeared through its face and dropped death and it disintegrated. Ruby and Yang are both shocked and horrified by this and scream.

Behind the disintegrated Beowulf appeared a metallic creature with four arms, red glowing spotted face and weird body. Ruby and Yang, terrified, ran to whichever direction and found themself with other Grimm, ready to kill them. The strange robot ran to them to kill the Grimm, saving the two kids, and tried to calm them down.

Rex: safe.

Yang is sheltering Ruby who is behind her

Yang: w-w-who are you?

Rex: Rex

Ruby: w-what do you want?

Rex: to help

The girls felt a little calmer but still uneasy.

Ruby: my name is Ruby Rose and this is Yang Xiao Long.

Rex sensed the Grimm that are approaching

Rex: danger.

They were confused by this but then saw more Grimm surrounded them and Rex's arms started glowing. And in an instant glowing stuff shot out of his arms and killed the Grimm. After that Rex checked up on them and made sure they were ok and started transforming. His four arms are turning into two and his legs are turning into leg like things. And after Rex transformed Tai, Summer, Qrow, and Raven appeared battle ready and saw Rex with Ruby and Yang.

Tai: girls! Get away from that thing!

Yang: wait it's fine! He's ok!

Ruby: yeah trust us dad! He protected us!

Summer: girls you can't be serious!?

They both were serious and the adults saw Rex covering them with his hand

The adults lower their guard and motioned for them to come over. They did and Rex was standing by himself while Summer was checking on them.

Summer: (to Ruby) are you ok? (To Yang) did it try to hurt you?

Yang: no we're fine. He actually protected and killed the Grimm that were here.

Ruby: yeah! He was like Phsu!! Phsu!! Plam!! It was so cool!

Raven went up to Rex

Raven: is it from Atlas?

Qrow: I don't know. It doesn't look like it's from there.

Tai walked up next to Raven

Tai: where are you from?!

Summer: you don't have to shout. It's right in front of you.

Ruby: I don't think he says much.

Summer: well thank you for protecting them. My name is Summer Rose, that is Tai Xiao Long, and those two are Qrow and Raven Branwen.

Rex doesn't say anything and just continues looking at them

Tai wanting to break the silence

Tai: do you have a place to stay?

Rex then jolts up and turns around and start walking away. The others didn't follow so Rex did a hand motion for them to follow. Them being skeptical but the two kids didn't mind so they followed him then the adults did as well.

After walking quite a bit they all stopped in front of a cave

Tai: is this where you live?

Rex: no. Tai Xiao Long.

Rex continued forward and so did they and what they saw is extraordinary. They saw a giant spaceship and Rex motioned them go come inside.

All of them except Rex: woah!

Once they were inside, Rex showed them the main area and turned on the ship.

Ruby: is this yours?

Rex: yes. Ruby Rose.

Rex accessed the control station and showed a holographic area of where they are now.

Tai: woah! It's like a 3-D map!

Summer touched it and pinched and the map zoomed out. Shocked, she then pinched again and they saw the whole planet of Remnant.

Qrow: is this what it wanted to show us?

Rex: yes. Qrow Branwen

Qrow nods and after a few minutes of looking at the map and different kingdoms they all left and took Rex to their home. Once they got home.

Summer: Rex would you like to join this family?

Everyone was surprised by this, out of nowhere question

Tai: why would you ask that?

Summer: because he saved our daughters and it seems like he is alone here. So why not?

Qrow: she makes good points.

Tai: shut up Qrow you're drunk again.

Ruby: wait. Can he stay. (Turns to Rex) can you?!

Rex looks at Ruby then to the others

Rex: yes. Summer Rose.

Ruby and Yang cheered and jumped and hugged Rex but they only reached his knees. Rex hugged back and the others soon followed.
