Classes

In the morning team RWBY woke up and Weiss started complaining.

Weiss: (groans) Ruby can you tell your robot to turn down the light?

Ruby: (yawn) he can't. That's his face.

Weiss: (groan)

Yang: morning Rex.

Rex: morning, Yang Xiao Long.

The girls all said their mornings and started changing and Rex turned around. Once they were done, they looked at their room.

Blake: this is not gonna work.

Yang: yeah it's too crowded.

Ruby: alright! As first decree as leader, we fix our room!

WBY: YEAH!

The team fixed their beds and made bunk beds as Rex held up Ruby's bed as she put rope to hold it up, and held Yang's bed up for Blake to put books under. Then they looked at their work.

Ruby: I think we did good and not a moment to spare. It's already 8 am.

Weiss: 8 am! You dolt, classes start at 8!

The girls were in panic and all left to go to their first class, which is professor port. Rex followed but took his time until he saw Glynda.

Glynda: ah Rex, what are you doing here and not in class? And where's your team? (Rex says nothing) (sighs) hello? Can you hear me? (Waves her hand at his face)

Rex then walked past Glynda and went to Port's class and when he walked inside everyone stopped to look at him. Rex looked for Ruby and saw her so he walked up and is standing behind her. There was an awkward silence but Port continued his rambles about his younger years.

Ruby: (whispers to Rex) where were you? (Rex didn't say anything) (sigh)

Ruby turned back around but she was messing around, not paying attention to Port's teachings.

Port: does any one of you have what it takes to be a fine huntsman?

Weiss raises her hand and Port tells her to get her gear because she will be facing a boarbatusk. Weiss appeared with her gear and took a fighting stance as Port realsed the Grimm from the cage and it rolled at Weiss. It stopped and look around and as Weiss was about to charge, the Grimm looked at Rex and the boarbatusk roared at him. Weiss took the chance to attack and everyone was watching intensely. She tried to go for a jab but the Grimm dodged and got a hit in, making Weiss fall down.

Rex got angry and his blue lights turned red and went down to face the Boarbatusk. The Grimm charged at Rex but he grabbed it with one hand, lifted it up, heated up his right hand, and punched the Grimm really hard, making it disintegrate. Then Rex's lights turn back to blue and he went to Weiss and lifted her up on her feet. During this, everyone is stunned by what Rex did as he went back to standing behind Ruby.

Port: umm ... (bell rings) I guess that concludes today's lesson. Everyone can go to lunch now.

Teams RWBYR and JNPR are walking in the hallway

Jaune: that was so cool!

Nora: yeah! The way you just went up to that Grimm and just punched it!

Weiss: why did you come and help me? I could've handled it.

Rex still didn't say anything and just kept walking with the group.

Weiss: ugh! Just say something!

Yang: (snickers) Rex doesn't say a lot, he doesn't even say full sentences.
