Seeing some more empty storage boxes you place them by the door in case it snows and doesn't rain, digging through things you find an airer and place it close to the door with a tub under it for the shoes and boots.

Huffing you move the rug away from the door and place a few towels there instead, slippers are brought over then you light the brazer in the laundry tent adding a small bag of coal to the tent, bleach is placed in the toilet buckets and more smellies are placed in the tent.

Checking you are winter proof, you see more mattresses and sigh placing them in the winter big tent and making them up, stiring the food and turning it down, you sit and start to look at the growing guide, seeing if anything can be grown over winter in near dark.

Growling at it you look around and start to prepare some veg to keep over the winter, hearing them come back you get up and help them move everything in, Mikey says "we will do one more quick run love, I think it will start later or tomorrow?" You wave then still as what he said registered, turning red as they leave.

Checking the new items you see fuel and more foods, pickles, seasonings, tins, pasta, pulses, rice, and flour as you keep digging, you find cookware and tubs, flasks and lunch boxes. They had got a nice selection of things finding the cookbooks you chuckle and leave them out.

Bags with blankets and winter clothes, placing some blankets in the sitting area, tubbing up some of the food and cleaning the pans you start the next lot of food, leaving a few of the flasks to one side as hot water bottles, looking outside you notice it has started to snow.

Going out you take the fabric off the butts and leave them open, then you move the storage boxes out to collect the snow, looking at the road for the men you purse your lips and lock the animals down with some more bedding and wrapping the house in bedding.

Lighting a small brazer near their pens, then closing the curtains down in the area, coming back into the main area, you hear them back, going out you help to bring everything in, the last comes in and says "we will lock up. I noticed you placed the containers out to catch the snow".

Smiling you say "free water" they chuckle you light the fires as the guys take their boots off and wear the slippers, the jackets are placed in the laundry tent to dry, you all unpack the trailers and move them over to the other side and out of the way.

They sit down and you pass out hot drinks, then you're pulled onto a lap and hugged you yelp and sigh, to a chuckle shaking your head at their antics. Relaxing you ask, "Did you see many out collecting materials?" they frown, and Kukucho replies,"not as many as we would like to see".

Serving the food you eat and pick up a book, they play cards as you read cuddled up to Mikey, hearing a noise you all look towards the door, placing you to one side they get up and grab a weapon, going out they have a conversation with someone, they come back in with a few survival kits.

Smiling, you look inside and say, "These are not bad, I assume this will be for the time the snow stays or if they can get out again?" nodding Kokonoi said they apologised, saying they wouldn't be able to come out here much." You shrug and say "that they came at all was nice" agreement from them all.

Putting the new supplies away, you see that it has a bit of everything. As you keep digging, you find some fresh meat, and still, pulling it out, you find a note

Taking the meat out you hand over the note and cutting up the meat you make a stew, your brother goes through the other bags and finds some more meat, you hand him the recipe on how to preserve it, he does as the book states as you keep an eye on him.

As the food cools you go back to your book and are pulled onto Kukucho's lap, cuddling in you read your book as they go back to their cards, feeling comfy you start to slip into sleep, feeling your book being removed you blink and are pulled in closer, you snuffle and fall back in to a stupor.

As you drop off, they look around and say, "It is really cosy in here, right?" Sanzu says,"It is. Do you think this is our forever home?" they all flinch, and Bf/n says,"It will be for at least a few years. We don't know what the weather situation will be like. Better safe than sorry"

Sighing Mikey says "we will go out once the snow starts to melt and see why we can pick up then to make this more like a home for us all" they all nod, getting late they check the animals brazer and your placed in your tent, much to their disappointment.

You wake and groan cuddling back into the covers you sigh and getting up you place more fuel on the brazer and start the campfire, going in you add more for the animals and feed them, checking outside you grimace and see the snow is quite thick already, bringing in a butt to defrost, then grabbing a container you take it to your side and place the snow in a pan and let it defrost.

Finding some cloth, you then filter the water into another clean container, placing this one back out. You grab the next, that done you start breakfast and place the portioned meals in the outside boxes.
