Collecting today's snow and melting, filtering and adding to the reservoir. The days went on like this on nice days you spent some time outside checking the area, going up top you take the buckets for the toilets and dispose of the waste.

Looking around you see some animal tracks, following them you see a burrow and grin, mentally marking the area and seeing a downed tree, you look at it, going back you call down "can I have some ropes and strong men?" seeing them come out with the desired rope.

Waving them up, you take them to the tree and point, frowning at you sighing "we take it back and dry it out, we won't always be able to find premade firewood, so start to collect it now" they all widen their eyes and start to collect the tree and scope the area for more wood.

Picking up the buckets you go back in and place more bleach inside, the tree and wood are placed in the growing area, cleaning out the animals the dirty is kept and placed on the growing beds, happy you go to the living cave.

Buckets back, you strip out of the snow suit, just wearing the warm under clothes, as you make a tea you hear a shout from the digging team, going over you notice they had gone into another area, walking in and looking through the hole you stare in disbelief.

Huffing you join the team of men looking around and say "if only we knew before we dug that other one?" the new cave wasn't big but it had a hole in the ceiling which seemed to of made a natural lake, which was full of water.

Looking around and at the sunlight coming in you sigh and say "I should bring the greenhouses in here aswell" happy but also a bit despondent, you are hugged and kissed "this is a good thing love, we just have twice the water and a better growing area. We can make that place for livestock found" nodding with a small pout.

B/n starts to laugh at you, feeling a little pissed you turn and pushing him you leave as you hear his scream and the splash, feeling better you smile and skip out, they all looked at B/n and you skipping away and hold the laughter, Kukucho helps him out saying "go get changed and warm man".

He nods and squelches back to the bathing tent making sure to avoid leaving too much water on your floors, Bf/n had started to heat the water for him as he was watching the interaction. Having gone straight to the growing area you started to move the greenhouses into the new area.

Thinking you made the big greenhouse picked up then placed the smaller ones inside it, brazers were lit, smiling you placed spare fuel in and started to collect all your growing supplies and using a trailer moved it all over.

As you stayed busy the others checked the walls, noticing there was only one area that wasn't completely rock or stone they started to dig there and hoping to enlarge the living area a bit more, incase of a really hot summer.

That night as you are cooking the evening meal you hear a giant boom, flinching you get up and run to your brother, who welcomes you into his arms, another one and you whimper, he strokes your head and covers your ears.

The guys all look and B/n flinches, "we lived rough, a hurricane hit and we were relatively lucky but we watched it destroy alot of areas and people, she was looking out when a chimney fell and crushed a man in front of her. The wind was the real issue but the thunder and lightning were there as well, so a little ptsd".

They all wince, imagining being out side in something like that, another boom and a flash, pulled into a group hug and completely surrounded in protection, you didn't open your eyes but you felt safer, the cave shook slightly on the next one and you shriek.

Head in a chest, head being stroked and ears covered, you whimpered this went on for a while, calming as you realised it wasn't causing your home any damage, you relax more hearing the thunder moving off, you are released as you flush and avoid eye contact with anyone.

Pulled onto a lap "no need to be embarrassed, we all have our little things that scare us" head kissed as you finally look up into Kokonoi's eyes he kisses your lips a little peck and a wink, as you smile a little and he gets booed for the stolen kiss, he smiles smugly.

Hiding your face you take a deep breath and relax fully, B/n gets up and checks outside, you tense and sigh as you watch as he opens the curtain and look outside he grimaced, twitching you get up and walk over, standing behind him you look out and wince.

Seeing your state they all come and look out, staring in disbelief, the lightening seemed to of hit a tree over the other side and looking at the sky it was black, shivering a little you all come back in and secure the curtain a bit better the animals were checked and more fuel on the brazers.

Sitting back down on Rans lap as he cuddles you in, you look blankly into the void and cringed as you hear the hail hit the containers outside "I am so happy we decided to stay here and not find a house" they all nod as your pulled in closer and lips kiss your neck.

Looking at the man he waggles his brows as you chuckle at the idiot, Bf/n says "when it thaws, we may have some visitors" you look at him and ask "grandad or just some men?" he winces "probably grandads men, I hope he will send some supplies. I left a note at the station for him".

Smiling "that man will outlive us all Bf/n" he chuckles darkly and nods.
