I get ready that day for our office party. I wear a short cherry red dress. My makeup and my hair, everything is done.

I come downstairs and wait for iris.

We get inside the office hall room which is designed for  parties. A few people are invited. The people included in this project of our new device. And I have coded it myself so yeah I'm here.

"Good evening everyone, I'm really glad that you all have come here to attend the launch party of the new device that our team has invented. "Sketal" a robot which can be take 2 shapes on its own. It's robotic body can destroy cameras, and other electronics in its radius. It's square form can transfer data from other decide to itself by just being close to it. A loud round of Applause can be heard in the entire room.

James comes beside me as everyone is getting drinks and laughing, talking. But we are standing together acting as a couple. He smiles at me and rolls a strand of my hair in his fingers. He wraps his hand across my waist.z

"He's looking at you Amber" iris whispers again
I can feel Jeremy's eye's on me. There's an emotion in him that I have never seen. He's coming towards me. Calmy. Taking small steps. And it makes my heart ache by how gorgeous he is.

"Amber, love can we talk" he says

"I'll come in a few"

He looks at James's hand on me and his eye's are legit burning.

"Okay okay"

I go with him in one corner of his office. He pins me against the wall and I gasp.

"What's wrong mr volkov"

"What was happening inside the hall?"

"Why did you bring James as your date?"

"Why did you help me with my mom?"

I don't know what to say. I'm looking into his eye's. He's not even blinking. He has pressed his body against mine. I can feel his jaw tighten. My breathes are slower. My heartbeat is faster. Before I could respond he moved aside and walked away.

I go towards the hall and I see him talking to some dealers. He doesn't look at me and it irritates me.
