she's in my arms

I have been in a meeting with amber and other directors for the release of a new device. We are settling a perfect date and time to announce it before handling it to the government. Well I don't  want to give this invention away but I wanna pretend for now.

As the meeting is over and we get out of the hall. Amber receives a call and I watch her face go pale by each passing second. she cuts the call but she's oddly silent.

"Hey? Something happened?"

"N-no"

"What about that call? You look worried love?"

"I have to go-i- my mom s-sh-she fell d-down . I-I don't -"

I know she's having a panic attack but I guess it's serious and we should look for her mom first.

"Name the hospital Amber. I'll take you there ASAP"

"Alumina. 4th-f-floor 408"

She can barely speak. She's in shock. I don't know what to do. I drove as fast as I could and took her to her mother .

"Hello mam, I was informed about a patient. Room 408. Rebecca wilston?" I say

"Yes sir, you may go and talk to the doctor. Take the lift to 4th floor" she says

I hold Amber's hand and take her with me. She doesn't say anything. And it worries me. She should say something get angry,get worried. But no sign of anything.

I see a doctor coming out of the room. I read the number 408.

"Hi sir, she's Amber. The patients daughter. She's not herself right now . Can I please know what's wrong?"

"Yes mr volkov. Her mother fell down from the stairs. 27 I guess? She hit her head very bad and hurt some internal organs too. She lost a lot of blood and we are trying our best to save her. She's not in the condition to talk. I think I can't allow visit. She needs rest. She needs blood. You should arrange B+ ASAP"

I'm stunned and I can't imagine what these words have done to Amber.

"Amber? Did you hear? Amber"

"Amber please respond love? Amber? Call liam! AMBERR"

she snaps. Tears fell from her eye's.

"No no no-no this can't happen" she says

"Please try to hold yourself love. She will be alright"

"I can't I can't I can't jeremy . She's my only family. I have no one. NO ONE. save her please."

I held her tight and wrap my arms around her. I know she needs it right now.

"You have me love, you will always have me, I'll always be with you. I'll do everything to save your mom"

She nods as her face is pressed against my chest. I hold her face and

" I'll be right back okay? You sit here. We have to save her remember? "

"Yes"

I go to the doctor and as far as I know I'm B+. I have never done something like this. Save someone. But it's Amber. Her family. I don't know why I feel like I have to do this. For her. It's been 2 months since I know her. And I know I'm falling for her. Everyday. She's my weakness. She's also my strength. She's something I have never felt and I never ever wanna stop.

I donate my blood. Everything goes well. After hours I reach to Amber. I'm a bit weak but it was worth the smile I saw on her face.

"I-I don't know how to repay you mr volkov. You didn't have to-omg, you didn't have to do any of this. I'm sorry -so so sorry. You must have work and I dragged you into this-"

"It's okayy love. I'm very glad I could help. I'd do anything for your smile"

"But why"

                 AMBER'S POV

as soon as I ask him, his legs starts to tremble and I know he's weak due to the blood he has given. I called iris and she was shocked by what he's done, specially why!

She comes here in 15 mins to take her brother home.

"Are you okay?"she says

"Yes I'm"

"Girl. You can't stay here. If you get sick who's gonna look after her"

"Yeah but"

"No buts come with me. You can't stay the night alone. You will need company. It's been a hard evening"

"Thank you iris"

"You're welcome . Always"
