5: ¿Haunted or infested?

It was 2:56am everyone was fast asleep, except Hoseok he was still wide awake, he started to regret choosing the couch because now looking around he realized how dark and quiet the living room is, not to mention the couch is quite small. Hoseok thought to himself if robbers were to break in he'd be the first one dead.

His thoughts were interrupted when there was a noise coming from down the hall where Tae and Jungkook's room was, he tried to ignore the sound but the sound started getting repetitive. He tried hiding under the blanket and closing his eyes but even then he was scared he thought whatever was lurking around was gonna snatch the blanket from him. He quickly got up and turned on the light. If he was gonna spend the night on the couch he'll have to sleep with the light on until he can get himself a night lamp.

Next Morning:
Namjoon and Jin were the first ones up per usual. Jin was preparing breakfast and Namjoon was reading a book at the table. Hoseok walked in the kitchen greeting both of them as he yawned and plopped down on the chair. "How'd you sleep?" Namjoon asked still focusing on his book. "Terrible, and it wasn't even because of the couch, last night I heard strange noises coming from down the hall." "Oh yeah the basement." Jin replied while still focusing on the food that was cooking. "Mmm, I heard that someone died in that basement and the noises you hear at night are from the soul trying to escape." Namjoon said as he gently place his book down on the table. What? No way you're joking?" "Do I look like I'm joking?" Namjoon raised an eyebrow. "No..." "Well I'm off to work don't wanna be late." "Namjoon what about your breakfast?" Jin replied. "It's fine I'll just eat an apple." He said as he grabbed an apple from the bowl that was neatly placed on the table. "No here take it with you and eat it when you get there." Jin said handing Namjoon a lunchbox.

Couple hours later:
Everyone had gone off to work by everyone I mean Jin and Namjoon oh and Taehyung too well thats what he claims to be doing. Back at the house Yoongi and Hoseok were sitting in the living room playing video games. Yoongi was quite good he beat hoseok twice already and he was going for a 3rd win. "Yo Yoongi." "Huh?" "Do you know anything about this place? Like is this place haunted or sum?" "No why do you ask?" "Namjoon said someone died in the basement and that's why there's always noises at night coming from down there." Hoseok said continuing to focus on the game. "That's bs, it's probs just infested with rats down there." Yoongi said as he beat Hoseok once again, he dropped the controller on the couch as he celebrated his 3rd victory, throwing his arms up in the air. "You suck, I win again."
