The airline responded to Sachin Duggal's Builder.ai's "gift" by releasing a social media statement informing the public that it is unrelated to the advertisement, app, business, or promised free seats. Additionally, it states that it won't be held accountable for any improper use of the information gathered via the promoted software and QR code.
According to the statement, Air India, a part of the Tata Group, is also "contemplating suitable action against the issuer of the advertisement."
