The next day, Eren and Mikasa met Armin outside the school. "Hey guys!" Armin said. "Hey Armin." Eren and Mikasa said at the same time. Eren looked at Mikasa. "You're it!" He said, tapping her. She groaned. "Huh?" Armin looked confused. "Whenever we do something at the same time, whoever says 'you're it' first makes the other person buy them something. It's a game we used to play with our mom." Eren said, sadly. "What happened to your mom?" Armin asked, immediately regretting it. Erens eyes clouded over and Mikasa frowned. "You don't have to tell me. I just met you yesterday. I'm asking to much. I'm sorry." Armin apologised. "It's ok. We'll tell you at lunch." Eren said, his eyes clearing up. They walked to class. Eren's first class was drama. Armin showed him to the theater. It was huge, red, with an amazing stage and soft seats and a fully functional, professional-looking light and sound board. "Whoa. This is amazing." Eren said, wide-eyed. They all met in the café for lunch. Eren and Mikasa sat with Armin, Sasha, Connie, Jean, Anne, and Marco. "So, what happened to your mom? If you don't mind me asking." Armin said to Eren. "When Mikasa and I were younger, we would play a game. We called it 'you're it!'" Eren said. "So," Mikasa continued, "one day, Eren, me, and mom were out walking. We got mugged. Mom tried to fight them, but she was killed. Eren and I were 10 and 9 at the time. We live with our dad. His job transfered him here, so now we are here." Mikasa explained. "Whoa. That happened? I'm sorry your mom died." Armin said. "Thanks Armin." Eren said. After school, Armin decided to take Eren and Mikasa around the city. They went to the Pearl Tower first. "Whoa." Eren said. The building rose into the sky. It's base had three legs like a camera tri-pod, and it went up in a long tube, then a big, pink ball, then the tube continued, and another pink ball, and the tube continued to a third ball and then tapered to a point. They went underneath the tower to the Shanghai History Museum. The entered. It was amazing. The museum had statues in the middle of doing various tasks. The statues were life-like. They looked exactly like real people. They left the museum and continued to go around Shanghai. Armin walked Eren and Mikasa back home. They thanked him and went to their apartment.
