I was woken up earlier than I was used to and had to get ready. I had already packed so that wasn't an issue and I was ready to get on the train. My dad woke me up extremely early so that he knew I was ready cause he had to leave before me.
He brought me to Malfoy Manor so I got on the train with someone. He already knew I'd probably get a compartment with Draco anyways.
I had fallen back asleep by the time I layed on the couch. I'd wake Draco up but was too tired to go upstairs. Narcissa woke me up a few minutes before it was time to go.
I was ready to go back to sleep by the time Draco finished getting ready. I had decided I'd sleep the whole train ride that way I was well rested for everything else.
Draco on the other hand had completely different plans. He wanted to talk the entire time I found that out when we got on the train. He had said something about if I was a different house but I hadn't heard much. The only two houses I really payed attention to him mentioning was Slytherin and Griffindor.
I knew he'd hate it if any of his friends were a Griffindor. It'd probably hurt his ego to hang out with someone like that. He called them a bunch of mud bloods. That's when I stopped paying attention and dozed off which was bound to happen.
I'm pretty sure Draco didn't realize cause when I woke up he was still ranting about whatever he was ranting about. I looked around to see if one of our other friends had joined us but it was just us in the compartment which what was confusing to me. Who the hell was he talking to?
"Are you listening Casey?" I heard him say and I looked at him confused. "Not really I fell asleep a while ago." I responded as I was still looking around hoping he wasn't just talking to me.
"People are gonna think your crazy Dray" I commented as we started talking about the fact he was ranting to a sleeping person. "Anybody could have realized I was sleeping! I'm surprised you didn't!" I could tell what I was saying didn't help. He was already annoyed enough with me for not listening.
Pansy, Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle found us soon enough. I had told them why Draco was so annoyed. "How long had he been talking for you to fall asleep mid conversation?" Pansy says giggling. I couldn't answer that so Draco did "I told her that if she became a Griffindor then I would no longer be able to associate myself with her unless it was at home."
Blaise rolls his eyes "If any of us became anything other then Slytherin you wouldn't associate yourself with us no matter what" he commented. That's when it hit me I had a low chance of becoming a Slytherin but there was still a chance. I didn't want to lose my friends. I knew I wouldn't lose Pansy or Blaise and I didn't care as much for Crabbe or Goyle. But there is one person I would lose Draco Malfoy.
We talked the rest of the train ride but I was still anxious about what would happen at Hogwarts. Would I even be Draco's friend anymore?
