Petrichor

As the night unhooked her cerulean cape of evening,

She drank all the sun of red wine color.

Her youth intoxicated my conscience,

While her thunders whispered "lover".

Her rain kissed my soaked face,

And petrichor gave her scent.

Today she felt wilder than usual,

She stripped my conscience bare;

As if we were meant.

And she said,

I wish I could watch myself the way you do,

Maybe I'd be more beautiful. .....
