In the far reaches of the Beishan base, hundreds of high-level zombies are charging towards it. The dust kicked up by their movement obscures everyone's vision, except for Lin Feng, who, with the eyes of the magic wolf, can see through any obstacle.

Seeing the massive horde of high-level zombies, Lin Feng suddenly had a thought. In a world called the apocalypse, is survival truly impossible?

Despite winning the recent battle, facing such a formidable array of high-level zombies, heavy weapons have limited effectiveness. If that's the case, what can stop the zombie onslaught?

What defines the end of the world? In Lin Feng's understanding, it's the end of civilization and humanity—a world either destroyed or on the brink of destruction. In such a world, there should be no tomorrow, no future for humanity.

Yet, here he stands, overlooking the wall, having lived in this post-apocalyptic world for four months. During this time, he's learned patience, humanity, cruelty, and resilience. Time still passes in this apocalypse.

If time flows, then there must be a future. If there's a tomorrow, can it truly be called the end of the world?

In this world, people have differing views on the apocalypse, broadly categorized into two interpretations.

In the broadest sense, some believe the end of civilization is the end of the world. In this view, people only care about themselves, abandoning any hope of preserving civilization. Humanity's ugliness has given rise to zombies, and the true end of the apocalypse is when humanity is eradicated.

However, this view is rejected by many. If the disappearance of civilization signifies the apocalypse, then the existence of high-tech in this era disproves it. Without civilization, technological advancements wouldn't exist, yet technology has improved human survival. Understanding zombie behavior and laws is essential for survival.

In a narrower sense, most people believe the apocalypse is the literal end of the world. As long as humanity and related entities exist, the apocalypse continues until all resources are exhausted.

This perspective is widely accepted. Sudden rains of death and inexplicable mutations are believed to be natural occurrences. The current state of the world—diminishing resources, depleted groundwater, scarce sunlight—all point to a gradual decline until the world's final demise.

Scientists at the end of the world have attempted to understand its causes, but conclusive evidence remains elusive.

Some propose that unknown cosmic rays penetrate the atmosphere, distorting water molecules and leading to mutations caused by radiation in the rain.

Medical scientists suggest a viral outbreak as the culprit. Viruses mutate and spread through contaminated rain, turning some into zombies and others into practitioners.

Others argue that nuclear leaks from secret weapons programs have caused the apocalypse.

If human actions led to the apocalypse, it would be a bitter realization for many.

The apocalypse evolves, as do humans. How far the apocalypse will go, and how far humanity can survive, remains uncertain.

But Lin Feng knows that if they lose today's battle, everyone at the Beishan base will perish, and they will never see another tomorrow.

In any case, this battle must be won.

Lin Feng's energy fluctuations astounded everyone present.
