There were at least ten people trailing them, who seemed content just to follow without making any significant moves.

"Why me? Just because I'm the weakest, you want to send me alone? They have ten people; isn’t that too risky?" Dong Wu protested, dissatisfied with Lin Feng’s plan. Although he had the lowest cultivation among them, he didn't want to be sent on a potentially dangerous mission.

The Dark Portal’s goal was to find Lin Feng and obtain samples of his body tissue for experimentation. They didn’t expect to find him here. A treasure in the cave could strengthen the Dark Portal’s forces.
