"JUNGKOOK, WHERE IS your dad?" Nabi asked out of curiosity. "Probably fucking some whore at the club" The man replied nonchalantly, making her choke on her orange juice. The casual tone paired with his choice of words made it evident that he could not care less about his father. Jungkook chortles at her reaction before adding on "My parents are divorced. Dad couldn't stop cheating. We still see him time to time though, he likes Ahyeon"
"O—only her?" Nabi asked, stuttering a bit as she hesitated to bring up such an inquiry. It was a personal as well as private matter that she was in no way entitled to, but she let the curiosity slip. Although, Jungkook didn't seem to mind her questioning. "Well... dad likes her more because she doesn't know about why he's divorced. He treated her really well as a toddler and they got close before mom filed for a divorce. She thinks it's because they fell out of love. That's why she still likes him"
"Oh... do you ever plan on telling her?"
"No... mom and I have agreed to keep it a secret. Let her have a dad, you know? He's a good man when it comes to her, but there's still beef between him and the rest of us. Ahyeon thinks I'm mad because he fell out of love with my mom despite promising to stay together forever. I couldn't care less about it. I'm against him for the shit he's done behind my mom's back. I only hold my tongue back for Ahyeon's sake"
Her respect and admiration for him simply increased. He was selfless. He knew what his father had done was disgusting, but at the same time acknowledged that he was a perfect father for Ahyeon. Why must he take that away from her? She's a child, she deserves two loving parents. He loved his dad too, up until he found out what was going on.
However, the toxicity in Mr.Jeon was something Jungkook could never forgive. He knows the reason why the old man came to favour Ahyeon over him was because she had no clue about his doings, whereas Jungkook? Knew it from top to bottom. Mr.Jeon also disliked the fact that his son was now a successful billionaire, who is also funding life at home, and Ahyeon's education.
He's allowing his mom to use all of her money for whatever she wants, and taking care of anything his sister may want to do. But the dad? Not a single dime.
Hatred is a mutual emotion when put in a room together. But only one experiences jealousy.

Jungkook knew he was fucked when Nabi asked him if she could go for a swim in the pool outside his mom's house, wearing a bikini. It wasn't too scandalous or exposing her private areas, but a bikini regardless. "Why aren't you getting ready?" She asked, tying her hair into a loose braid. "I don't wanna swim, I'd rather just watch you do it instead" He said cheekily, causing her to roll her eyes and hit his chest.
"Just because Ahyeon is at school and your mom is shopping Doesn't mean you should openly thirst for me" She booped his nose, flashing a flirty smile. "But then again, just because you shouldn't... Doesn't mean you can't" She added on, sensually leaning forward as she puts her finger underneath his chin.
