**I wrote this for a school project, but it's not that bad, so here it is**
What happened the seventh of December
Was definitely a thing to remember.
The attack that lasted over an hour
Started with a bomb shower.
Japan came as quiet as a mouse
No one could hear them from their house.
The Japanese attacked with no warning
Early that December morning.
Then they heard the bombs,
BOOM!
And they all thought they had met their doom.
Japan decided to have a surprise attack,
So Hawaii tried to fight back.
Japan didn't want us messing with their plans
That were against The U.K. and The Netherlands.
SPLASH!
More bombs dropped to the water in a flash.
Pearl Harbor was filled with commotion.
Everything disturbed the ocean.
To think, just a few hours before it was as peaceful as a dove,
With the sun in the sky; shining from above.
But now, the attack is over with,
And trust me, it wasn't a myth.
