The text message notification pinged, and Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as he read Taehyung's message. "Can you come to my house, Jungkook?" It was simple, but his mind began racing with a thousand possible scenarios, none of them calming. The idea of heading over to Taehyung's place so soon, especially after just 48 hours, felt too fast, yet his curiosity and desire to be closer to him pushed him forward.
Hoseok, lounging beside him on the sofa, chuckled softly. "You're going to his place now? Isn't that a bit quick for you two?" he teased, watching Jungkook fidget nervously.
Jungkook sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know, hyung. We've only just started this thing, and now I'm supposed to go to his house? What if I do something wrong? I don't want to make him uncomfortable."
Hoseok raised an eyebrow. "What's there to worry about? You two are basically together, right? If you like him, just go. You'll be fine."
Jungkook gave Hoseok a pointed look. "No, it's not like that. We just started, and... I don't know. I feel like I'm rushing things."
Hoseok smirked. "It's cute how worried you are. You guys have only been together for 48 hours, and already you're calling him your 'boyfriend' with a heart around the calendar date," Hoseok teased, pointing to a heart Jungkook had drawn around their anniversary date on his calendar. "I didn't think you were this whipped already."
Jungkook flushed, embarrassed, but Hoseok's teasing only made him more flustered. "Okay, okay. I'll go. But I'm just not sure what to expect."
Hoseok threw him a smirk. "Well, don't forget to take protection with you, alright? You don't want to knock up your little Tae Tae."
Jungkook's face went beet red at the suggestion, his mind wandering to inappropriate thoughts, then shaking his head to push them away. "Hyung, stop! I'm not thinking about that."
"Sure, sure, Mr. '48-Hours-Boyfriend,'" Hoseok winked, clearly amused by his discomfort. "Just make sure you don't get any bright ideas."
Jungkook stood up, looking both flustered and determined. "Alright, I'm going." He grabbed his jacket and headed for the door, hoping he wasn't overthinking this.

As Jungkook arrived at Taehyung's house, his nerves got the best of him. He rang the doorbell, and Jimin was the one to answer with a playful grin. "Ah, Jungkook, welcome to paradise," Jimin greeted, stepping aside to let him in. Jungkook laughed awkwardly, unsure of what to expect next.
"Where's Taehyung?" Jungkook asked, looking around.
Jimin glanced over his shoulder before heading out. "He's inside. Have fun, my friend!" he said with a wink, adding a loud "Wink" as he left through the front door.
Jungkook walked into the house, noting how cozy and inviting it felt. It wasn't big or extravagant like a mansion, but there was a certain charm to it. He took off his shoes as instructed and followed Taehyung's voice to the living room.
There, Taehyung stood, wearing an apron that made him look unbelievably cute. Jungkook's heart melted at the sight. "Hey, Taehyung. Your house is lovely," Jungkook said with a soft smile, still taking in the homely atmosphere.
Taehyung beamed at him. "Hy Koo! I'll get you a drink. Sit down, please!" he said, his energy infectious.
Jungkook shook his head gently. "I'm not really a drinker," he replied.
Taehyung blinked, looking surprised. "You don't drink water?" he asked, his voice full of playful disbelief.
Jungkook chuckled, still amazed by Taehyung's adorableness. "Not really a drinker at all," he clarified.
