The day started early for Jungkook and Yoongi, just like it had the day before. They were assigned to a medical management project, focusing on providing healthcare assistance in marginalized areas. The project aimed to analyze the efficiency of small medical centers, their access to resources, and how medical students like them could contribute to improving healthcare in underprivileged communities.
Jungkook, ever the overachiever, was enthusiastic, taking notes and asking insightful questions to the doctors guiding them. Yoongi, on the other hand, was silently competent-absorbing everything but speaking only when necessary. The two of them worked side by side, visiting the patients, checking medical reports, and learning about the struggles these healthcare centers faced.
During their lunch break, Jungkook slumped on the bench beside Yoongi, groaning. "Hyung, I swear if one more doctor asks me to check patient files, I'm just going to become a patient myself."
Yoongi chuckled, sipping his iced coffee. "It's a field trip, not a vacation, genius. We're here to *learn*."
Jungkook sighed, pulling out his phone. "I need emotional support." He quickly dialed Taehyung's number.
The phone rang twice before Taehyung picked up, sounding suspiciously cheerful. "Bun-bun!"
Jungkook felt his exhaustion melt away. "Baby, I miss you."
Yoongi, who was casually scrolling through his messages, glanced up and smirked. "You sound so whipped."
Jungkook ignored him. "I've been running around all day, looking at patient records, discussing policies, and writing reports. It's exhausting. I just want to come back and cuddle with you."
Taehyung hummed on the other end. "Oh? So *now* you remember me?"
Jungkook gasped. "Excuse me?"
Taehyung giggled. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding! I miss you too, baby. Just come home safely, okay?"
Yoongi took the opportunity to call Hobi and Jimin, who instantly answered on speaker.
Jimin shrieked. "Yoongi-boongi, how's my love?"
Yoongi sighed. "Fine, but your boyfriend Jungkook is about to collapse from being a workaholic."
Hobi laughed. "Typical. Just survive a few more hours, then you'll be back with your baby."
They all talked for a while, exchanging stories, teasing each other, and laughing. Jungkook's mood lifted immediately, knowing he had Taehyung waiting for him.

On the other side of the city, Taehyung was *on a mission*.
With Jungkook returning tonight, he wanted to surprise him properly. He had already kicked Jimin and Hobi out, telling them to go do whatever unholy things they wanted at Jimin's place, but not near *his* moment of romance.
Inside Jungkook's condominium, Taehyung stood in the living room, hands on his hips, surveying the space like an architect analyzing a blueprint.
"Alright, Kim Taehyung. Let's make this place scream *I love my boyfriend*."
He had a plan.
First, he ran to the store, grabbing all the essentials-candles, fairy lights, and a ridiculous number of snacks. He also bought a new fluffy blanket because Jungkook loved soft things, no matter how tough he pretended to be.
Back at the condo, he started decorating. Fairy lights were strung along the walls, casting a warm glow over the room. He placed scented candles on the table-not too many, because he didn't trust himself not to accidentally start a fire.
