It had been a week since Zachary's snit. His parents left a few days ago, being retired and all they had places to be.
It was just another ordinary day. "Miss! Please don't hit me!" Sam yet again ran away from my room when he woke me up. Sighing I stood up and stretched. I took a quick shower and changed into some clothes before exiting.
I swiftly walked to the living area to see almost everyone watching the television. Everyone looked half dead as the all had here heads hanging either behind them or to the side.
"You people look like death came through here." I only got a few grunts for a response as they barely moved an inch. "What's wrong this time?" I asked looking at Tom.
"I don't know what's wrong with him, but he's driving us insane." He replied closing his eyes. "How so?" He let out an irritated sigh. "We usually go out somewhere, like a club, but nooooo he's in a stupid mood."
Nate chuckled. "Ah, leave him be. It's his time of the month." We all looked at him like he was insane before breaking out in laughter. "Whoa, I didn't know that you thought things that way." Chris said still laughing.
"If he won't take you out, why don't you sneak out?" I was surprised at myself. Never have I snuck out much less thought about it. Tom looked at me before looking at the others. "Well then, it's a date."
We all circled around the coffee table and began making a plan. "Boss goes to bed at 10:30 and gets up at 7. So, at 11 I want everyone to meet right here." We continued before I had to leave and make breakfast.
"Hey Laurel!" I looked at Tom who called out. "Yes?" He had an evil smirk on his face before handing me a bag. He quickly exited the room. I took a peak on the inside to see a blue cocktail dress.
I immediately hid it in my room and came back. I finished cooking and served everyone their food.
11:00 AT NIGHT (HEH HEH HEH) *SNICKERS EVILLY*
I changed into the dress and was ready to slap Tom. It was very, tight, to put it simply. I changed into my heels and quickly met up with everyone.
After sneaking around the night postmen I made it to the living area. Everyone else was there and dressed nicely. All eyes were on me as I walked in.
"Hey guys." I called as I sat on the sofa. "Tom, boss is gonna kill ya if he finds out about her in that dress." Nate hit Tom on the back of the head. "That's why he won't find out."
Everyone quickly agreed that noone needs to know about this. To be honest I had never been to a club so I was pretty nervous.
"Laurel. Please stay near one of us at all times. If we lose you boss'll kill us." Chris said as we walked out into the garage. "Okay." I replied as we got into a black van that could seat everyone.
"Don't worry miss! If any guy tries anything we'll protect you!" Sam cheered happily with a big grin on his face. "Sure." I replied carefully not trusting my voice.
Chris began driving and it was all but silent.
"What do you mean I look sloppy!?"
"I never said that!"
"But you implied it!"
Masoch and Tom went back and forth in a pointless arguement. Right as I was going to yell at them Chris called from up front. "Shut up already we've arrived!" Within seconds the backdoor was opened and everyone was out.
"I get first watch miss!" Sam called to me as I closed the door. "Cool." We walked in getting immediate access. The loud music greeted me and the reeking smell of alcohol made me realize how stupid this all was.
