I woke up with the most beautiful sunlight seeping into my room, I felt tired but strong, I stood up on my wobbling knees and all I could feel was new, like something changed , then last night events came crashing in , I walked to the mirror looking at my hands and I could still see the markings as they ran up to my chest , it was beautiful but the scarry part was I was still In upmost confusion , what was all this about, sure I knew it came from pricking my fingers on that tree, I had to look for answers, and I wouldn't find it by standing here looking all sorry and confused, my room was a mess , there were blood Stains on the floor and I remembered the tree like wings, I turned my back looking to the mirror and all I could find were two big bold scars were they emerged from, it was 8:30 meaning I was already 30 minutes late to work, with all the blood I lost last night I contemplated taking my self to the hospital and trying to see if this was a medical issue but I knew they would deem me mad if I were to spill such things, I best not then, making some scrambled eggs and tea I took another cold bath and left in a hurry as time waits for no man, and I needed answers to my questions.
 
            Getting  to the company , I walked straight to Mr olentee office, I wanted to hurry over to the site and I needed some documents to be authorized by him first , greeting the old man, he Looked at me with a worry look , are you alright boy you look so pale and tired is anything the matter? No no sir , you need not bother yourself I am as hearty as a horse, just a couple of good sleep and I will be back in good shape, okay how will you be handling the site today we need the site cleared and ready by this weekend remember construction starts next week, yes sir am well aware , I just need you to sign the validation documents especially for the environmental conduciveness and , good am glad you are following up already , getting my ollentee's signature I dashed out of the office heading straight to the site, getting to the destination , I saw just the contractors and engineers  doing their own survey and everything , I greted them and started on my own investigations, I went to the place I first made contact with the tree but I couldn't find nothing not even a trace that it's root was uprooted, now I was more than confused , how can I find something I don't know how to, ok I walked around the site but still nothing, I had other jobs at hand today and I was also very hungry , I have practically not eaten any proper food since to these past few days, I left the site and headed next to the avalaible restaurant, on getting my menu I was just looking at the figures trying to get the least food with the least figures , I could notice pairs of eyes on me, they were so intense so I turned but no one , going back to my menu I ordered Chinese rice and salad , digging into my food, finally some good one, I ate not minding any mannerisms etiquette, after eating , I ordered a good wine to soothe my throat, but I couldn't still shake off the feeling people were starring at me, decided I had to leave as I still had other things to do , I left the restaurant , strutting down the road I felt I was being watched again and I  was already tired of the whole hide and seek , come out I said , I stopped waiting for the person to come out , my senses instinctively broadened and coupled with frustration , I was already seething with anger, and then a young man no older than I am came out with his hands up, I mean no harm he said giving me the care free look, who  are  you and why have you been following me I asked, we mean no harm mart , just here to help , we? I asked , come out guys the man said and three other came out , a frail  looking  girl no less than 20 , and another young man looking young and smiling so care freely  ,  he looked no older  than 30 ;and lastly another young man, he looked more matured and his aura commanded respect , I asked who are you guys and why have you been following me, calm down mart , we are here  to help , spare your good boy qualities Jordan said the carefree one , you make It sound like he is in some sought of danger, don't but in Ethan this is not one of your jokes, silence said the older one , must you guys always act like boys? Isabelle get the car we can't stay here no longer than we should , look mart you need to follow us we can't talk here there are too many eyes watching , I can't just follow you guys just because you asked , I know just trust your instincts you know you want to follow us , let's talk back at the head quarters , headquarters? Yes that's where people like us stay, people like you? Stop complicating these any further Ethan , come mart we will talk somewhere  safer.
   
                   I followed them half trustingly , I needed answers , so I followed them , what's the worse thing that can happen to me , that hasn't happened already, I watched as we drove through the city, I felt comfortable at least with their presence, the frail girl who I had now learnt her name was Isabelle was starring so intently at me , what?  I said returning the energy, I just can't believe it choose you , she said shrugging her shoulders , what chose me? I don't want to spoil the story for you mart, but just be careful when we get there , by the way how did you guys know my name? , that's easy, said Jordan he was the one driving, you name got registered immediately that lightening struck you, wait how did you guys know about this? I asked ? You would be surprised at the amount of information we already know about you, how long have you guys been watching me? I asked them genuinely concerned for my safety now, don't worry mart we would never harm you, infact we can't, Adam are you sure master would have arrived by now ? , Isabelle asked the serious looking guy , who has been quiet all these time, hmm , he answered staring right out of the window, not shortly the mini van entered the an alley and drove right into a large compound, I came down and what I saw marvelled me, it was like we were back to the 1880's , the mansion stood powerfully as leaves covered it's body, it gave off a spooky yet mysterious aura, where are we? I asked particularly to no one.
