the fight must continue

As my wings ripped out my back, the pain shot out of my body, and I decided to chanel all of my pain to those swarms of ghouls

     Dragging my wings , they were heavy at first and I was trying to get a hang of them, to be honest the pain increased as I tried flying out, and as soon as the flying ghouls noticed me , they took it upon themselves to come after me, swinging through the swarms of ghouls and swiping them with my swords I looked down on my team and noticed they were truly tired now.

Ethan should have been out to get  the communication portal open so we were solely hanging on the last thread, everything seemed out of control already , I looked over as scarlet was getting tossed about, my body was already weak it was the first time I have used alot of energy all my life.
      
       Everything happened so fast I was still trying to understand how everything came to this, let's form a barrier to keep them off for now Jordan screamed at me, I came down dragging my body to them, scarlet had swished back to herself , but in her naked form , I couldn't even bring myself to look at her, she used her long hair to cover her breasts and tied one of the torn clothes to her waist, Adam came over, his tattoos we're almost diminishing, he was the most injured and tired amongst us, we four joined hands together and with their help I channeled into my solute, the air burst with our mixed solute and different vibrations and currents were zapping in the air , the ghouls that were trying to get close were all zapped away by the current and I could see a thick barrier enclosing around us , I was the one contributing the most to the current as my energy level seemed to be the highest.

      Closing in  the flying ghouls all shot down their arrows to us, trying so hard to break the barrier, next we saw Ethan come back swiping his chain through the ghouls, I have sent out the signal we just need to hold them off before the reinforcement arrives he said, what took you so long? Scarlet asked , she sounded already tired and drained, I couldn't open the communication portal until I was out of the fog.we can't hold this barrier for long and I am already down on solute , Adam said, this shows how much we are lacking in power and stamina , the elders would be shocked to find out the raggers has amassed this much army, scarlet replied, they are more ferocious than what was written in the records,

I should have taken my trainings more seriously Jordan hissed sounding pissed, let's try getting out off the fog together , I don't know what's holding them up so much, I clearly sent out that signal, let's go we moved trying to follow the direction where the fogs seemed lesser that must be the opening.

      I swiped  through the gnarling ghouls who were relentlessly fighting as if they were programmed to do so, it was all about team work at this point, we needed to leave as soon as possible, soon we heard noises and it looked as if the reinforcements had arrived , the others Abos flowed in charging in with their weapons and Adam seeing them went limp immediately he clearly was hanging on the thread, are you all okay?, one of the Abos asked, do we look okay to you Jordan hissed , I clearly sent out that signal a long time ago, sorry we couldn't find you guys soon it seems they have a witch working for them too.
   
   A witch! that' not good, how did witches get involved in this already nothing good comes out when they get intangled in things
Ethan said, that must be a joke right? I asked laughing weakly to the Abos? You didn't knew they existed or what? He asked. Clearly implying whether I was dumb or just joking, his new said Ethan , his the Abos with the unusual circumstances, God he exclaimed you must be martin, nice to meet you, he said with curiosity brimming on his eyes, my name's   Sam am under elder amos's solute team, I smiled back , come on guys we are still in the middle of a war here, leave all that chitchats till we are out of here scarlet said, I could see sam's attention drift to her .
    
       She was still wearing so  little , even though tired and injured she looked tempting and inviting, you heard the lady I said clearly pissed at sam for badgering scarlet with his eyes , we were lead out soon,  and other Abos came to join us, the ghouls soon backed off as they soon they were now overly outmatched.

   The fogs has now vanished and the weather as bright as before, only two of the elders came, none I was accustomed to, I held Adam as I took him to the van, we went in and soon we drove off heading back to the headquarters, I couldn't even think about my job at the moment, everyone one was silent as we drove back, and soon I could see the tall wars of the headquarters ,

      Sam lead us into a large room with beds, and some some ladies rushed in with towels and medicine dressed like the medical maid but looked professional, I saw as they attended to Adam wiping off his body and applying onitments and herbs to his wounds, even though he passed out , he still winced at the medicine came in contact to his wounds, his face was pale and mouth dry , his injury looked more serious than they rest of us
 
     Though I hadn't known him for more than a day, heck the rest of them , I felt they all took being an Abos seriously and Adam took on his responsibility as a  leader more seriously and devotedly, Ethan and Jordan sat up with their heads on the bed rest clearing taking in the pains as they were also treated.
